Nothing like giving little brother an ass whooping.

Great all around team effort, and a huge momentum booster heading into week 10 at Arkansas State.
Looking at the conference, we are still on top at 6-0, but we have Troy and Arkansas State both breathing down our asses, the Trojans sitting at 5-1 and the Red Wolves at 4-1. Louisiana-Monroe could techincally be considered in it still at 3-2, but best they could hope for is a share of the title, and it's nigh impossible that we'll lose our last two games, Troy will lose their last game, and Arkansas State will lose one of their last three games, all needing to happen for ULM to have any shot.
On the national scene, in the game of the week and yet another #1 vs #2 showdown, #2 Alabama improved to 10-0 on the year and 7-0 in the SEC in a crazy and wild one, defeating #1 Mississippi State (9-1, 6-1) 45-44. Mississippi State had a 28-11 lead at halftime, but the Tide had a furious comeback, outscoring the Bulldogs 20-9 in the fourth quarter, scoring the game winning touchdown on a 66 yard pass with 7 seconds left in the game.
Elsewhere, #3 Ohio State remained undefeated at 10-0 and 6-0 in the Big Ten with a 39-19 win over 4-6 Indiana, #4 Oklahoma (9-0, 6-0) edged out 5-5 Notre Dame, 35-33, #5 Wisconsin improved to 9-1 for the year, 5-1 in the Big Ten with a 42-21 win over #9 Penn State (8-2, 4-2). #7 Boise State (8-1, 6-0) kept their national championship hopes alive with a 42-30 win over Rutgers (7-2, 5-1) in Big East action. Iowa improved to 7-3 knocking off $17 Nebraska 34-14, #21 Stanford beat #19 Oregon State 42-21, #22 Georgia Tech improved to 7-3 with a 38-20 over #23 Virginia.
