    Wishful thinking.

No kidding. Barring something absolutely crazy happening, we could probably just skip straight to your pick.

If you do that then you also need to take Texas out. They are just as easy to recruit with as Papa proved 2 years ago. If we start doing that, then we need to just ban all 6* teams.

Lol, little inside information, Snoop? Personally I'd like to see us stick as close to teams from the conferences that we choose as possible.

Lol, more gut then inside information.

I'd be up for that too but I don't want to be dominated by taking a lesser team then someone else jut to maintain conferences. Fine balancing act there.

Also I dot want to see any team taken off the board. All teams are options IMO.

Agree, but I think Florida, Ok St and A&M are definitely teams that can be competitive.

Ryby wants rivalry games and that's the best way.

The best way would be all in one division, but rivalry games do not matter if the user loses interest. And A&M cannot compete with Texas and Ok in recruiting. Florida is 6*, and Okie St is questionable if they can compete.

I agree with ryby here, A&M can't keep up with Texas and Oklahoma right off the start recruiting wise, same with Okie. State in my opinion. The Gators certainly could and there a team of interest.

I agree, A&M doesn't have the talent to compete in the SEC and if you're not winning recruiting could get difficult - its very hard to catch up once you've fallen behind in this OD. That being said Alabama, Florida and Texas are on my radar, Florida and Texas are virtually the same team offensively and defensively (heck this year even scheme wise in real life), both are in great recruiting states as well. Bama is coming off a MNC, has great talent and is located right in the middle of SEC recruiting country. It really comes down to - do I want to compete against the top teams that are going to get snatched up quickly or do I want to roll with my Longhorns. If Alabama is gone by my pick the decision for me may be the ratings of David Ash (UT QB) ve Jeff Driskel (UF QB). The pull of the Longhorns and their stable of running backs may be tough to overcome however.

This is my argument here. Granted this is POWERHOUSE and we are playing with big time schools but the difference between the top 6 so to speak and the bottom 6 is night and day. But if the top 6 guys get the big guys in recruiting areas (texas, bama, florida,so cal) its going to be a uphill climb for the guys who are on the tail end of the draft. I dont mind losing at all but if can get stale doing it week in and week out because of the way I have been out recruited throughout the weeks. just my 2 cents

It can be hard yes, impossible no. The last time we used SEC schools I was playing with Tennessee and I think it was year three before I was able to build a team capable of beating Papa and the vaunted Crimson Tide, however once I did I was in the MNC, which I lost.

There are 11 6-star teams all of which have the ability to recruit nationally at the same level. Florida State and Georgia are at the same level as the 6-star teams talent wise and posses the same recruiting draw. Wisconsin may not have the recruiting draw of some of the other schools but no one will want to face them, g got them two years ago and their line (as always) was down right nasty. My point being that there are a lot of options - the problem with A&M is at the very least they are a 4-star team who hasn't done much since RC Slocum left, just had a ton of talent depart and are moving to arguably the toughest conference in the land, not a good combo. But there are 13+ schools on equal footing this year.

So are we picking just SEC Big XII teams, or any school?
