RIP to Eugene Polley who came up with one of the greatest inventions, the TV remote control.
The Entertainment Consumer's Association isn't a fan of CISPA, and they're taking to the Interwebs again with a call for action.

Congress is currently debating the merits of two pieces of legislation, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) and the Cybersecurity Act of 2012. CISPA has passed in the House of Representatives, but its cousin, the Cybersecurity Act of 2012, is still being debated in the Senate. We need to do all we can to make sure this legislation stops there.
The legislation amends and updates the National Security Act of 1947, which doesn’t contain provisions regarding cyber crime. While this law absolutely needs to be updated, this legislation is the latest example of Congress debating technology issues, while not understanding the full implications of the legislation they’re trying to pass.
Both pieces of legislation attack privacy by having corporations share your information with the Government under the guise of cyber security. It’s George Orwell’s classic book 1984 right here, right now.

Is Batman ***? Major DC Comics character to come out of the closet.
DC Comics plans to reintroduce a character as *** in a future issue, it has been revealed.
Co-publisher Dan DiDio previously said that the company would not change the sexual orientation of an existing superhero and would bring in a new one altogether.
But at Kapow Comic Convention in London on Sunday, he revealed that an existing character - who was previously assumed to be straight - will become ‘one of our most prominent *** characters’, according to comic blog BleedingCool.com.
Senior VP Sales Bob Wayne said DiDio’s view ‘had evolved’, comparing the shift to Barack Obama’s recent endorsement of same-sex marriage.
DiDio did not specify which character would ‘come out’ or in which issue it would be featured.
But Courtney Simmons, DC Entertainment’s senior vice president of publicity, told ABC News that it would be soon.
'One of the major iconic DC characters will reveal that he is *** in a storyline in June,' Simmons told the network.
There has been much speculation on Twitter about who the character could be
@JenWhy12 Tweeted: ‘One of the characters of DC comics will be ***, what one will it be? I hope it's Batman.’
@dnghia added: ‘DC Comics is about to unveil that one of its supeheroes is ***. Who do you think it is? My money is on Aquaman.’
DC Comics’ portfolio includes iconic characters such as Batman and Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern.
Batwoman, a DC favourite, made her comic book comeback as a lesbian in 2006.

What is this world coming to?
I don't know if Batman is ***, but liking Batman is.
Robin is probably the culprit anyway.

Well, question is, does Robin count for this "change over" or is he already automatically considered ***? I haven't kept up with comics in probably 13 years, but Robin was always the one who instantly came across as a closet *** from the moment he was introduced.

Police: Group Staples Roommate’s Lips Shut, Tortures Him With Power Tool
A group of six is behind bars after police say they bound their 41-year-old roommate’s feet with tape, stapled his lips shut, and spent the night torturing him with a small power tool in their Utah home near Salt Lake City.
Police believe the suspects were suspicious about their new roommate, who told authorities he’d moved into the house in Magna a week and a half earlier and had agreed to remodel the basement in exchange for rent.
“One of the suspect’s claims over the last several weeks different people have pulled a gun on him in the street,” Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said. “They believe (the victim) was responsible for it.”
Hoyal says six men and women held the roommate at gunpoint in their home starting late Saturday or early Sunday. They handcuffed him, put staples in his ears and chest, and used a Dremel tool to cut him, according to jail reports.
Police said the roommates struck him multiple times with objects including a crutch, a keyboard, a laptop and the butt of a shotgun.
“All night they tortured him,” Hoyal said.
The group decided at about 4 a.m. Sunday that the roommate might not be responsible for the threats, Hoyal said. They released the man, who reportedly fled to his sister’s house and was taken to a hospital.
