Oh well, would you look at that. Clear Channel and iHeartRadio have another $10+ million to spend on another iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, but yet Clear Channel just laid off loads more people last week, the second time since October. What a surprise. Corporate continues to fuck over the hard working people in this company, but they have no problem spending tens of millions on a two day music concert.
I swear, if I had another job lined up somewhere or at least didn't need the money from my current paychecks for a month or two, I'd quit and get the fuck out of this company and go somewhere else. I am fucking sick of this never-ending bullshit from corporate.
Well, I'm pretty lucky now that I have a job working for a state agency. Means I pretty much have to kill someone or fuck the wrong crazy bitch to get fired (guess I got saved from that this time).
But, I worked for a company that was doing the exact same thing, but on a MUCH smaller scale well before the real economic stability started. It was a local ISP here in Charleston that was basically an 11 man show during it's hayday. 3 years after I joined, it was down to 4 people (including myself) and quickly diminishing (I got laid off about a year later and then the business finally shutdown in another year or so). I worked for a whole year, not knowing when my job would be over and then, I was given a week's notice before it hit with no severance package of which to speak. It fuckin' sucked.

So in a report by CNN on the Tulsa shootings, the on-site reporter read a Facebook post by one of the suspects, and actually read it verbatim on air. The posting included the f-bomb and the n-bomb. Kind of interesting. Do you think it's good that the reporter was giving the story straight up without being PC? The only problem I had with it is you really don't get that much of a fair warning that sensitive language is coming.
