That's what I've read from searches online. NCAA BB 10 still at least looks pretty decent graphically, but 2k8's graphics aren't the greatest. But then the 2k8 also has the superior dynasty/career/whatever mode of the two (from what I've read). While I like good graphics, I'd be able to overlook them if it means a deep, fun dynasty that I can pop in and play now and then when I have the time or when I get the college basketball itch.

I could get it used for super cheap at Gamestop, only problem is the closest Gamestop store that has it in stock (since they don't have any you can buy online from GS' website) is clear over in Warsaw, Indiana, 70+ miles away from me, which while I want to get one of these, driving 70+ miles just to buy it isn't something I'm willing to do.

Another factor is the price. If you can't find NCAA Basketball 10 used at like a Gamestop, you will get royally gouged.

    http://www.amazon.com/NCAA-Basketbal...2016055&sr=8-3

Price: $118.66 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. Details

    13 new from $82.99 4 used from $67.99

That said I can't play 2K8 anymore due to the graphics and the three point line being in the old place. NCAA Basketball 10 is a fun game and I still think the post up game in the EA basketball games were better than the 2K series. Far better presentation with ESPN and CBS options. The worst part is the freezing that they never fixed. On m old 360 it would freeze every few games. With my new 360 I only recall it happening once. They have also disconnected the EA servers for this game so a few of the features no longer exist.

I just play tourneys with the game now, it is just nice having a college hoops game around this time of year or when I get the itch.

Yeah, I saw that on Amazon. Some low, decently priced 2k8 and NCAA games on eBay, I'll have to check them out and see how the auctions go. Unfortunately GameStop is probably out of it and I very highly doubt that there's a copy within 25-30 miles of me.

And yep, just checked. Both used and new, GameStop has nothing for NCAA BB 10 at a store within 100 miles of me, and closest for 2k8 is that Indiana store, a 70-75 mile one-way trip, which is definitely out of the question for me for just a game. So looks like eBay is my last hope.

$149 new for CH2k8. I really need to learn to buy two copies of the "last game in the series". One to play and one to sell years later.

Heard that they really sucked on Jurassic Park. Hope they don't do that here with TWD.

    Gameplay...

I hate Telltale's gameplay style. Sad too since I wanted to like the Back to the Future game and I wanted to like this.

I'm not a huge fan of Telltale's gameplay style either, but it didn't keep me from enjoying Back To The Future. I think I'll like this game.

It looks like an interesting story at least, but the actual gameplay looks like it would get tedious and boring. We already know it is slow.

I really wish someone else would've picked this up to develop. I really despise the game play in Telltale's games. It just gets so boring after about 30 minutes.

U.S. bill proposes tobacco-style warning labels for games

Called the Violence in Video Games Labeling Act (H.R. 4204, PDF link), the bipartisan bill seeks to label games in the U.S. with a message that reads "WARNING: Exposure to violent video games has been linked to aggressive behavior" on their packaging (or in another clear and conspicuous location, if distributed digitally).

That can't possibly happen because it's not true. There has been ZERO scientific evidence that links violent behavior and video games at all.

I swear to fuckin' god, I'm SO tempted to move to Canada or England. This shit is ridiculous.

Heh, I was just about to post that. My representative is the co-sponsor. Ffffffffffffffffffffffff. E-mail sent ...

Worst part is that it requires a label on every game. Not just those that are violent. It'd be like a carton of E-Cigarettes having a tobacco warning.

You sure? Zero? I'm sure some study claims a link somewhere. But if you actually took the time to look at every bill introduced to Congress, I'm sure this isn't the one that would make you move.

Yes, I'm quite sure. Anything that has any actual factually based study (you know, one that isn't slanted one way or the other for some type of financial benefit) has been unable to have any concrete correlation between video games and violence, therefore, there is no actual scientific evidence suggesting such a thing exists.

That type of bill would be the proverbial straw that broke the proverbial camel's back.

I know of quite a few bills that have been introduced to Congress as well as local state governments that I highly disagree with. While none of them really have a tangible effect on myself nor my livelihood, in a society that has groups of people that are given the right to free speech only to attempt to squelch the right of free speech to other people, it certainly makes it much more difficult to ignore things that offer no real hindrance to myself to effect the livelihood of people that are just trying to live their lives. Thus the disgust over things that any society of semi-decent intelligence wouldn't find to be a problem at all, yet, the society that is the United States of America seems to thrive on the idea of taking away the rights of citizens to live their lives as they see fit but within the logical rules of the world.

It's one thing to get angry at a game. It's another to get so angry that you take that anger and do something stupid with it (aka, kill someone, hurt someone, etc).

I agree that there's nothing credible (at least nothing that I've heard about). But you didn't say credible. And credibility has nothing to do with politics.

Believe me, I'm not a fan of this bill. But how does an extra label or sticker infringe on any right of the American people? Is it stupid? Sure. Does it actually have a tangible impact on our rights? Not that I'm aware of.

I was about to fire off some emails about this bill, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
