I have seen the audio drops as well as sometimes when I spawn the screen is still that blue color like I am dead.

I do think the hit detection is fine, I still am unsure about what you are looking for in that arena, I am sure you are about to say something about the bullet damage soon as well. I accredited most of it to it being a beta though, the can't run and the audio drops anyway. The game did get worlds better once I unlocked some sights, camping is going to be a major pain the ass though, like I have seen times where the rushing team is just laying around not even trying to arm the things and no one is moving (hence why I stopped playing rush in first place)

According to their blogs you were suppose to be able to communicate with everyone on your team now, how do you do that I honestly don't know, but it was mentioned I know.

Edit: I was also just joking about the job, I found it humorous you are always on basically every shooter that was all.
It's because you're hitting collision objects in the map. It happens to me all the time. The not being able to aim glitch doesn't happen nearly as often, but it's equally annoying when it does.

Hit detection is fine if you're using a sight, which is exactly how it was in Bad Company 2. When using the standard iron sights, you have to aim low. I immediately adjusted to it but I still can't believe they didn't get that tuned up. I immediately noticed it when I first started playing BC2 and it's the first thing I noticed when playing BF3 for the first time.

I will agree that it does get better with unlocks. I actually started having some fun when I got my red dot, mainly because I could actually aim for the head and have it register as a headshot. Camping is going to be a huge problem. The bullet damage is just way too high, the map has way too long of sight, and there's really no reason for people to move. Why move and get killed on the way when you can sit in one spot and get several kills strung together? Part of the problem is Rush - such a shitty game mode.

Rush is a terrible game mode, it was fun on BC1 and early parts of BC2 before every one started realizing that all you have to do is camp on it, but its absolutely horrible now and I question why it is still in the game. I play a shit ton of conquest and its a pretty decent game mode ( nothing more than domination) but I am curious to see how any of the other game modes will work out.

I am hoping camping will balance itself out once people get use to the locations where people hang out at (kinda like the old Ghost series), and yes the spawn points can be horrendous if your teammate is a a bad location, I snagged a couple of 8 kill streaks off of shitty spawn points. I do like that they have made light machine guns inaccurate on the run now, what I don't like are the different weapons depending on what team you are on, not a big problem but I liked having all my guns available. LOL

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that, either.

Ok, for this beta, is the Operation Metro map in Rush mode the only options you have to play on? I'm downloading the beta right now, and that's all they mention in the details, is playing Rush mode on Op. Metro.

With Battlefield unfortunately you never know, they have had maps that were only available on one mode. Its a terrible map for any mode if you ask me, outside of the "outside" portions, it has wayyy too many chokepoints, but there are ways around them though just kinda irritating IMO, mostly the subway part.

So yeah, I have no clue what the hell is going on or what I'm doing, but I'm having fun. Went 7-10 in my first game, probably my first true FPS multiplayer game in a year. Got promoted up a level, was on the winning team. Had a blast.

Getting better. So far have played 3 games, and gone 3-0. Was 7-10 my first game, went 10-11 my second, just went 17-10 my third. Slowly improving.

Yeah, in my four short matches on Rush, definitely not something I'd probably play often. Give me some other modes. Definitely ran into my fair share of campers. A couple corners down in the subway where there would always be someone hanging around somewhere. And I agree about the different weapons. I hate that.

Fuck you EA for making me get your damn proprietary download shit to be able to play the PC Multiplayer Demo of Battlefield 3. Fuck you in the dick.

LOL I have all the download thingy's. Mostly because each one offers different sales and that is about the only thing I like about PC gaming the games always go on sale at one point or another.

Can anyone still get into this thing on 360? I keep getting a "The connection with EA Online was lost" error all of a sudden. I was able to instantly connect and jump into a match no problem when I fired it up for the first time this morning.

It's day one of the completely open beta....not a surprise that it is not going without a hitch.

True. I was finally able to get into a game after about 10-15 minutes of trying. Hopefully they get the issues ironed out.

You know I finally put two and two together the other night based on the ESPN NCAA FB games and the coffee picture post to realize who you were and that we have been facebook friends for a while

Yeah, I think you friend requested me a few months back after I liked the Facebook page for the sports podcast. I figured you knew the connection the entire time.
