Understandable. It's unfortunately a fact of life in video games these days. I have 50+ games sitting on a shelf next to my Xbox right now, from probably at least 5-10 different companies, and every single one of them had a day one patch released with the game, as well as at least one other patch at some point in the months following release, some others had multiple patches. It's just become the standard practice in video games these days.
Others like JB or I OU or someone who plays/buys more games in one year than I have bought/owned/played since 2010, could probably tell you if there has ever been a game that didn't require at minimum a day one patch, but I'd guess it'd be an extremely small number if there has been.
