Also you really need to scale first and foremost. Second you should flip the background so that it matches the render better. Third, you need an effect. Those are just 3 of the main things I notice

The last thing you want to do is rush a cover if you want it to turn out good. Yours looks like you did it in 3 minutes.

Don't do that with the arm, it looks really bad. Just leave it behind if it's gonna cover up the text and never put it behind the text.

Well the cutting is really bad and it still doesn't look like there is an effect, but it looks like you have the basics down. I have to ask though, what was the point of doing an NFL cover on the NCAA template?

That was an accident I changed it to say madden 12 instead of ncaa 12, but I left the background the same. I did lighten up the skin a little bit.

On that Keenum cover, you didn't eliminate the background between his legs. It's still black. And there's some kind of effect... not sure what it is... but it looks very grainy and leaves red marks around his eye. Just trying to offer some constructive criticism.
