For cost-savings assembly, there are several things they could do. *Assuming* that they are treating them as "disposable". If they are treating them as a serviceable item, then they would likely be built similar to what they've done before.
Sorry man, don't take it as directed as you. It was an exclamation that *I wouldn't* want to be buying a new controller after a year or so just because the battery went out. Nothing
you said was BS since that is your viewpoint on getting a new controller, but rather I think that the idea of having to get a new controller instead of being able to change out the battery or service it is BS.
