Fucking people over and seizing cars/homes were listed as separate things in my post. Some of the banks, credit card companies and telecommunications companies have time and time again been involved in some seriously shady shit that did nothing but fuck Joe Consumer over and line the pockets of the banks and companies. But yes, EA forcing you to enter a code for some online pass, yes, how fucking dare they, could have been the end of civilization as we knew it if it was allowed to continue.

Again, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with EA being "the worst company in America". I personally have my vote and its not EA nor a bank/credit card company. I pay my bills on time so the banks credit card companies have been good to me.

You also are ignoring EA's "alleged" unauthorized/unpaid use of 1000s of "poor" college students "likeness". Perhaps, people are really upset that EA isn't paying the students that cash money?

With the NCAA Football thing, it's not like these student athletes aren't taken care of. A vast majority would probably sign off on being in the video game if that was proposed to them.

The students can bite me. They're getting a free education by way of scholarship, if they're smart enough to actually stay in school instead of leaving for the pros after two or three years. Playing football in college is a choice. They're not being forced to do anything they didn't sign up for. All the crap about how they have practice and this and that and how regular students don't and thus can have regular jobs, again, the dumbshits knew what they were signing up for when they signed the LoI. They all think they're going to be the next hot shit in the NFL, so they start getting that entitled jackass way about them that they deserve free this and free that because they'll be some great pro football player someday.

Again, EA isn't my most hated company but to say others have no reason for voting them so doesn't hold allot of weight IMHO. I also agree the vote isn't a true vote of all American consumers and as such the poll should be taken for what its worth.

However, the CEO of EA apparently felt the need to respond to this "useless" poll. But if its "useless" and so.... "flawed" why even bother responding to it? You give it some form of credibility when the head honcho feels the need to defend his company in the poll.

I agreed with this point a long time ago that the poll probably does not reflect an accurate reflection of America as a hole (no online poll does).

No, they just enjoy seeing EA taking a back-to-back slap to the face for their shitty business practices. As you said most of these people are gamers, posting on gaming forums. If Activision or possibly even Bethesda was on that list instead of EA, they would have finished in the same place.

Well judging the response on Twitter/IGN people are not happy with the MS announcement re: Used Games/Always Online.

Most "insiders" agree with IOU Sony's policy will be the same with PS4. IF Sony/PS4 go that route I think Sony is missing a HUGE opportunity to just CRUSH MS and win the console war.

I also think if PS4 takes the same approach you could see REALLY bad sales for both PS4/XB1 and a slow conversion rate.

Kaz is a pretty fun guy on Twitter at least. However, tweets like that may backfire if you are in fact right IOU. I'm starting think your right but I still think its a mistake b/c I believe the demand from consumers would make the publishers cave they simply couldn't/wouldn't take a pass on 60% of a potential customer base.
