Today's financial report from Electronic Arts has disclosed that NBA LIVE 20 will be moving from its original and traditional Q2 FY20 release window to Q3, meaning it will be released after October 1. For comparison's sake, NBA 2K20 will be released on September 6, 2019 and NBA LIVE 19 launched September 7, 2018. The move may be one to get the title out of NBA 2K20's launch tsunami, allowing LIVE 20 to get some attention of its own.

Polygon reached out to EA and received the following statement: “We’re planning a different approach to NBA LIVE this year, and will have more to share in the quarter ahead.” ...

The NBA 2K development team has posted a lengthy Facebook blog detailing MyGM 2.0 and MyLEAGUE improvements coming to NBA 2K20.

This year, MyGM focuses on increasing the number of meaningful decisions made by the user, a score and leaderboard system, a new landing menu, a revamped leveling system, a new skill tree, revamped relationships, revamped goals and tasks, and more.

Additional MyLEAGUE-level features include: staff card, revised morale and team chemistry, new personality badges for max players, history and records, improved draft class authenticity, improved player DNA, option to force winners, using LT/RT to quickly scroll through menus, and more.

2K Sports has released the track listing for the NBA 2K20 soundtrack. Artists on the soundtrack include Cardi B, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Drake, and Run The Jewels.

This year, UnitedMasters is the official curator of the soundtrack and is giving their artists a chance to be added to the soundtrack at a later date.

EA SPORTS has released an official gameplay trailer for FIFA 20 highlighting some of the improvements coming to the game.

704Games has announced that Kevin Harvick will be the NASCAR Heat 4 cover athlete when the game releases this September. The cover will also include NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Tony Stewart on the cover.

Among the first game news and features revealed are a deeper career mode, upgraded graphics, track maps and the addition of the 2019 rules package. Those who pre-order the game will get early access to the new Martinsville Night race.

2K Sports has announced the cover athletes for NBA 2K20, available September 6, Anthony Davis (Standard and Deluxe Editions) and Dwayne Wade (Legend Edition).

The First Look Teaser video for the game also included a look at A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, confirming that the WNBA will be featured in NBA 2K20 in some form.

This is the first time Wade has been on the cover of NBA 2K. He was previously the cover athlete for EA SPORTS NBA LIVE 06. Davis was one of three cover athletes available for NBA 2K16.

Announced during the NHL Awards, the EA SPORTS NHL 20 cover athlete will be the Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews.

The first major reveal on game features came via Game Informer. Among the big changes coming to NHL 20 are: 10-15 signature shots for superstar players, 400+ new goalie animations and improved AI, new team celebrations, new broadcast package including new commentary team of James Cybulski and Ray Ferraro plus guest commentators, Squad Battles in HUT, more customization options in World of Chel, four new outdoor venues, Coaching Carousel in Franchise Mode, a new line chemistry system, trade finder, and more.

NHL 20 will be available September 13, 2019 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, September 10, 2019 when you pre-order the NHL 20 Deluxe Edition or NHL 20 Ultimate Edition, and on September 5, 2019 for EA Access members to play the early trial period.
