EA has posted their second article this week, this time talking about Presentation and Pageantry in NCAA Football 14. The article covers changes to announcers (including the addition of David Pollack), all new camera angles, new music & player chatter, and the additions of uniform parts such as team-specific gloves and base layers.

EA has published an article talking about the changes in NCAA Football 14 with regards to running the option. The article discusses their process of improving the option game, major improvements from last year, improved CPU decision-making, modeling the option game after real-life NCAA teams, & changes made to the defense.

As you probably already know, NCAA Football 14 will add a popular feature from other franchises called Ultimate Team (NFUT for short). As part of that, those that love the mode (or love a particular college team) are looking forward to seeing some of their favorite all-time legends take the collegiate field again. One of those that immediately springs to mind to almost everyone would be Auburn's Bo Jackson.

Kotaku's Owen Good has an article with all of the details about Jackson's history as well as comments from EA once they were able to secure him into the game.

NCAA Football 14 Developer Christian McLeod was recently a guest on the GoodBullHunting.com podcast discussing changes to NCAA Football 14, particularly those surrounding Texas A&M. As part of that conversation, at 14:20, McLeod was asked by the host, "Is the black alternate uniform something we might see in the full version of the game?". McLeod's answer was seemingly cut from the podcast.

We've just been informed by the developers at EA SPORTS that this year, when editing the coaches file before starting up a Dynasty, you'll have a myriad of options available to be able to setup each coach. Not only will you have the ability to setup how he looks like before but you'll also be able to outline his history of coaching as well as the playbooks that he runs.

Lost in the hype surrounding the NCAA Football 14 demo, last Thursday EA SPORTS posted a blog discussing the new Nike Skills Trainer.

The mode helps users learn and master new and existing gameplay features within the franchise. Earning a Gold Medal in each event will unlock players/cards for use in NCAA Football Ultimate Team. The Nike Skills Trainer is available in the NCAA Football 14 demo, but does not unlock NFUT cards.

The NCAA Football 14 TeamBuilder site is now available by going to either easports.com/teambuilder or to easports.com/teambuilder14. While no major changes appear to be reflected on the new site, it has been updated to reflect NCAA Football 14 data including adding new teams (South Alabama, Georgia State, & Old Dominion) and updates for team data including uniforms, field art, stadiums, and rosters.

If you'd like to look at the rosters for your favorite team, you can do so by creating a new school, then on the Rosters tab, select your team's roster as the base template. This will show you what to expect for ratings and players for your team.

EA SPORTS has released the details of the NCAA Football 14 demo which drops Tuesday, June 18th. Included in the demo are three matchups, Virginia Tech vs Alabama (Chick-fil-A Kickoff), Ohio State vs Michigan, and Oregon at Texas A&M. The quarter length is limited to 3 minute quarters, however the user will have the ability to change the rest of the gameplay settings including difficulty and gameplay sliders. New this year, users will be able to try out the additional camera angles in the game: Regular, Zoom, Wide, & Coordinator.

In addition to the three matchups, users will also have access to the new Nike Skills Trainer which attempts to teach users the finer mechanics of the game including how to run the Read Option as well as some of the more basic functions of the game such as proper passing with the lead mechanic that was added in NCAA 13. Finally, users will be given Ultimate Team giveaways as incentives for playing and sharing the demo.

UPDATE - The NCAA Football 14 demo is now listed as available on the Xbox.com website and can be queued for download on your console on this page (Gold members only).
