NBA 2K16 has announced that Kenny "The Jet" Smith will be joining the title's pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows. Along with Shaq and Ernie Johnson, the franchise is only missing Charles Barkley to complete the crew from TNT's award-winning studio coverage.

Also, replacing Steve Kerr as color commentator during gameplay will be Greg Anthony. The Turner Sports commentator was indefinitely suspended in January following an arrest on suspicion of trying to hire a prostitute. The case was dismissed in June before Anthony returned to NBA coverage in early July.

The first Madden NFL 16 game update is now available on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The update comes in at 800 MB on PS4 and includes improvements and fixes to gameplay, Connected Franchise, Ultimate Team, and more. The CFM fixes help address issues that kept many users from starting the popular career mode.

NBA TV has begun airing a 30 second commercial for NBA Live 16.

The commercial is basically the same as the E3 First Look Trailer, but has been updated with Wesley Matthews now in a Dallas uniform and added Atlanta's Jeff Teague in the Hawks' new black uniform.

Among the highlights of the blog:

- Improved on-ball and off-ball defensive behavior and reactions, including anticipation reactions.
- Player specific defensive behaviors. Expect to be bodied and worn down by top defenders such as Kawhi Leonard and Tony Allen. As well, off-ball chucks and body ups by defenders will slow down offenses that utilize cutters.
- Team-specific (by coach) defenses depending on the stage of the season, player type, efficiency, and more as well as legendary team adjustments.
- Every pick and roll defense in the NBA is in NBA 2K16.

A new Madden NFL 16 tuner update addresses WR/DB risk/reward interceptions. It is believed to have increased the number of interceptions on Aggressive catch attempts as well as decreasing the likelihood of a WR catch with multiple defenders in the area.

The tuner update will be automatically downloaded upon starting the game. There is currently no update on the upcoming game patch. ...

At Gamescom 2015, the FIFA team has announced some significant new features and improvements coming to FIFA 16's Career Mode.

Pre-season Tournaments allow your squad to play in three of nine available tournaments and are designed to let you work on your team tactics and line-ups before the start of the regular season. The prize purse from these tournaments gets allocated to your transfer budget for the upcoming season.

Player Training - Each week, select up to five squad players to train from a number of training drills, each focused on developing specific attributes. Improve your starting line-up or build up youth players to increase transfer values.

EA SPORTS has released the soundtrack listing for NBA LIVE 16. For the third straight year, MICK - one of the top DJs in the world - has helped to curate the game soundtrack, which has been considered among the best in sports gaming, particularly for hip-hop and rap fans.

The soundtrack consists of 22 songs from artists such as Jidenna and Fashawn. As in NBA LIVE 14 & 15, the soundtrack can be customized in-game per game mode.

True Achievements.com has revealed the full list of achievements for NBA Live 16. There are a total of 33 achievements and one challenge.

The achievement list reveals some new additions to Ultimate Team, including 'short term' players as well as a GM List. Some of the more notable achievements including blocking a dunk, scoring 100 points in a game with one player, and also connect on 100% of a player's three-point attempts (with a minimum of 10 attempts).
