Costumed Mascots

This is a list of all costumed mascots among the 120 Football Subdivision Schools entering the 2011-12 college football season. The list includes full costumed mascots (Syracuse's Otto), masked mascots (Kansas State's Willie Wildcat), and also human mascots (Notre Dame's The Leprechaun).
As of NCAA Football 12, 37 schools lacked their mascot while four had an outdated mascot in the game (Colorado State, Fresno State, Ohio, Washington). The table also lists 'secondary mascots,' which include inflatables and additional costumed mascots.
In NCAA Football, costumed mascots are those that you see during in-game cutscenes celebrating, dancing, showing signs of frustration, etc.
