The Treatment Procedure
Cleansing: Dr Arun thoroughly cleanses the treatment area to remove any makeup, oils, or impurities.
Topical Anaesthetic Application: A numbing cream is applied to minimise discomfort during the procedure. This typically requires 5 minutes to take effect.
Treatment Mapping: Dr Arun then marks the areas to be injected, carefully planning placement for optimal results.
Filler Injection: Using a fine needle or cannula, the dermal filler (hyaluronic acid-based) is precisely injected into predetermined areas of the lips.
Massage and Molding: Dr Arun gently massages the product to ensure even distribution and proper contouring.
Final Assessment: Both Dr Arun and the patient evaluate the immediate results, with potential touch-ups applied as needed.
Post-Treatment Care Instructions: Dr Arun provides detailed aftercare guidelines to optimise healing and results.
Aftercare recommendations
Aftercare notes for Chin & Jawline Fillers:
Needle entry points, redness, bruising, swelling and asymmetry around injection sites immediately after treatment is normal due to the very nature of the treatment.
There may also be some tenderness present as the bruising and inflammation sets in. These symptoms will resolve over the next 2-7 days, depending on your individual response to the treatment. It may take a full 2-4 weeks for all swelling to settle; until this time we cannot re-treat.
For 24 hours avoid:

Skincare with active ingredients
For 48 hours avoid:
Intense physical activity
Sleeping on side or front
Spa's/Saunas
Massage/facials
Touching/rubbing/massaging/exfoliating/applying pressure to treated areas

This treatment typically lasts for approximately 12–24 months before requiring a top-up. The longevity of results varies based on several factors.

Treatment Area: Fillers in highly mobile areas such as lips tend to break down faster than less mobile areas
Metabolism: People with faster metabolisms may break down fillers more quickly

Are jawline fillers permanent?
No, this treatment is not permanent. We use hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, which are the safest because they are reversible. Therefore, the treatment can be reversed at any time if the client does not like the result or if there is a complication.
What type of fillers are best for chin and jaw?
We use high-density Juvederm and Intraline range fillers to create a fantastic definition and shape of the chin and jaw. We use dense fillers as they can hold shape and structure well, which is required for this area of the face as we are recreating the structure of bone.
Can I have other treatments alongside chin & jawline filler?

Can chin and jawline filler help with jowls?
Absolutely.
People can form jowls due to bone and fat loss from the back of the jaw, which causes the skin to droop forward, resulting in jowl formation.
We can treat the jowl area directly and indirectly with fillers. By injecting the jowl region directly, we can reduce the indentation caused by the jowl. Treating the jaw and replacing the lost volume can create a slight pulling effect, further minimising jowls.
How many mls do I need for jawline enhancement?
Volumes can vary widely between different clients and the desired outcome. To improve the chin, we may use 1-2ml. For jawline enhancement, this can require between 2-6ml depending on a number of factors which can be explored during consultation.
