This is a list of all costumed mascots among the 120 Football Subdivision Schools entering the 2011-12 college football season. The list includes full costumed mascots (Syracuse's Otto), masked mascots (Kansas State's Willie Wildcat), and also human mascots (Notre Dame's The Leprechaun).
Nearing launch of NCAA Football 12, 33 schools either lacked their mascot or had an outdated mascot in the game (Colorado State, Fresno State, Ohio). The table also lists 'secondary mascots,' which include inflatables and additional costumed mascots.
