I use a mixture of plug ins and stuff that already come with photoshop

You mess with the plug ins and find what looks good. I can't really describe my process, it's just something I have messed with over the years and have gotten down. I made a tutorial on my site to the best of my abilities to make it into something anyone can learn.

Thanks. You were my inspiration to start making ncaa football covers. too bad i cant afford lucisart 3 ed or any other of the plug-ins. I will try the best i can though. Thanks again. I have photoshop elements 3 (very old piece of junk) but my covers in my opinion are almost as good as everyone elses.

Don't get too cocky, no one usually starts out "as good as everyone else" unless they have had prior Photoshop experience. Check your PMs in a sec though

First one in a while, Denard Robinson. Had this cut and everything for the longest (there are so many DRob covers out there- good ones too) so I decided to finally finish it.

Only thing I would change would be his skin tone, could use some more saturation (but I know he is dark so not too much). Also 3.5% grain on the render would go a long way

Yea, I was debating on the skin tone. I did lighten him up a bit. Will add those changes and repost.
