Probably last playbook specific question I'll answer but...
Yes, it does appear to have similar plays to what you'd see in a Y-Trips.
I'll still answer any questions about Custom Playbooks, etc. but nothing formation specific, primarily just stuff like impressions, functionality, etc.
I saw that in the demo Oregon's playbook has 15 plays out of the Shotgun "Ace" formation, I was wondering if there are any additional plays you can add via the custom playbooks from that specific formation.
Question : If there is a formation that has another formation hidden in it in a preexisting playbook, (ex Oregon's shotgun normal look) and you use that playbook as your base playbook will the formation still be hidden or will it be separated into two separate formations.
If I'm not mistaken, everything that was a hidden formation before is a separate formation in the custom playbook interface.
Not true. Check out the custom playbooks video -- in Ace Big, for example, there are "hidden" Emory & Henry plays, as well as a Tight TEs formation and a handful of "Canes" plays, where the HB is split out where the TE would normally be.
I'm sure there are hidden formations sprinkled throughout custom playbooks.
EDIT: Actually, I'm only 99% sure about E&H plays in Ace Big, but the others I mentioned are definitely in there.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is a "hidden" play?
In reference to Unconquered's post (some people may refer to them in other ways), he's referring to plays that are inside a formation, for example Ace-Big, but do not share the same formation appearance as the formation they're in. Good examples are the Emory & Henry plays inside Ace-Big, the PA play that starts off like Ace-Big Wing that's in either Ace-Big or Ace-Twin TE, or the Maryland I plays that are in Florida's Goalline formation.

The play cap varies by base playbook style correct?
If so can you tell me which one has the highest/lowest etc.?
I believe it's defined by each playbook's default for Goalline. I think the maximum is really 400, but Custom Playbooks subtracts Goalline, Hail Mary, and Special Teams from the maximum, and lets you play with whatever remains.
Most teams have the "base" goalline, so you'll see a lot of consistency, I believe.
