Only saw a few minutes of the Missouri game. Watching the intro, I was like "hey this is the same generic intro from last year." Then seeing the players warm up was nice and seeing opposition players at that was a nice last gen touch. Other than the wipes though, the few minutes I saw... this game looks pretty much identical to NCAA 11. Can't wait for the demo though to try it out myself.

Are you serious? No new sliders for fumbles, injuries or stamina despite the fact Madden has had it for at least two years now? I'll say it one more time - if the dev team doesn't split the pass coverage slider between man and zone coverage they will deserve 100% of the blame if people bitch about zone defence being overdone.

I could only watch while he was playing as FSU then had to leave. I think I saw Ben slip to the ground rushing the passer. There might be new interactions there but the entire time I was pretty much focused on watching the ball carrier move. I think there is even less player momentum this year which really disappoints me. It's not even close to realistic imo. Players change directions far too easily and accelerate like jack rabbits out of cuts. The foot sliding makes it look worse as they don't plant their feet properly and just slide around. I wish so much we could get more realistic player momentum. I will forever miss the way the PS2 players moved compared to the way these guys have implemented it on the PS3.

LOL they move about the same to me. maybe I am blind or something. I am honestly not seeing these huge leaps and bounds in player movements that people are saying when referring to the ps2. It really does look nearly identical to me.

Then again I don't study my video games either.

In regards to how players move, if you didn't use turbo much, PS2 players moved the same, except stiffer imo.

There is a huge difference between the player movement. It's something I felt from actually playing the game. You don't have to watch videos to see it. When my brother got a 360 and I went over to his place to play NCAA 07 at the time (I had the PS2 version). I was thinking of upgrading systems. While there are a lot of other differences the first thing that stood out to me was the lack of player momentum. It was super twitchy as change of direction was too easy. It also made playing pass defence incredibly hard imo. Of course for the guys (like most of the devs) that just play as a DL they don't care. But for some of us that like to play LB or S, the lack of player momentum really hurts your ability to cover guys as offensive players cut and are at full speed in less than a second. I really disliked it and waited another year before buying a new system.

Obviously some people are going to like the new way better but there is no way they are the same.

Precisely. You couldn't just jam on the left stick and jerk over 5 yards at full speed. The players aren't stiff enough. I've made my point and don't want to de-rail this thread anymore but I need to get that off my chest. I don't like the player movement at all and changing that would really give the game a different feel. I'll have to wait for the demo to see how I really feel with some of these other changes.

Agree with you, I like the new movement in regards to cuts and some aspects of changing direction, but not everything, especially covering 5 yards quickly.

My stick skills aren't the best lol. I enjoyed NCAA 11 and the improved zone defence (if not overdone), toned down suction blocking, improved play action, custom playbooks and boosted defensive playbooks should be nice. But there are some core things where the dev team sees things differently than I do.

Another big one is in game saves. I would pay $25 for that as a DLC if I could! I have to say the majority of games I have played on MLB 2K11 I have used the in game save feature. Absolutely love it for early morning gaming.

I've watched this by pausing it on Youtube actually which worked and allowed me to go back to watch the same video from the 22 minutes in which gave me 27 minutes of viewing time.

First take is that the zone coverage looks extremely improved, heck some of the guys that aren't on this site that I play with will be able to tell the difference.

Second thing I really really like it the collision and tackling animations. Just a nice breathe of fresh air to see them in place. Something that will surely add to the defensive side of the ball. Nothing better the making a big play while playing D.

I'm going to have to rewatch it again before I make to many other comments but the scrambling while throwing did appear to have an effect on throwing accuracy. I will admit though I'm not entirely familiar with the Mizzou QB nor his abilities which obvisouly have an impact as well.

I want to watch the battle in the trenches, I noticed that Rhombic mentions that the DLine was falling down to much. No comment from me till I watch that the whole way through again (and again and again and again) Hahahaha.
