Or EA just realizes that most of the state of Alabama's population can't count past four. It's sort of a sympathy/mercy rule.
I will try to get this in tonight....probably tomorrow though.
GG Man! Sorry I had to play and run last night but the wife was nagging me about not spending time with her before my business trip the rest of the week.
Hopefully, the Gators can actually get some recruits to sign during the off-season this incoming class is pretty bare bones right now.
We have now advanced to Players Leaving...
T. Richardson - RB - 99 - SR - Graduation - NOOOOOOOOOOO!
Coach CLW and his staff bid farewell to 17 Seniors. The class included: WR Omarius Hines (98 Ovr); MLB Jelani Jenkins (96 OVR); RT David Young (96 OVR); LT Xavier Nixon (95 OVR); C Sam Robey (93 OVR); CB Adrian Bushell (91 OVR); CB Jeremy Brown (91 OVR); WR Frankie Hammond, JR. (91 OVR); FS Dee Finley (91 OVR) and HB Mike Gillislee (90 OVR).
Gillislee rushed for nearly 1200 yards and 18 touchdowns this season averaging nearly 8 yards per carry. It will be interesting to see who steps up and fills the void at RB for the Gators.
Jenkins was a STUD for 3 years for Coach CLW. Jenkins won the following awards during his career - 2011: Bednarik and Best LB - 2012: Nagurski and Best LB. In 3 seasons Jenkins finished with 208 tackles, 76 TFL, 62 ATK, 27 sacks (22 of which came last season); 4 INTs; 1 TD; 11 PD and 8 FF.
Interestingly the two Senior WRs only combined for 49 catches and 5 TDs last season (Hines 25/3 Hammond 24/2).
Coach CLW was also able to convince the 8 juniors who were thinking about leaving early to come back for their senior seasons.
Ready to advance.
PSU is ready as well.
We need to talk sliders, gentlemen. I am going to start a 2013 slider thread, please make comments to help cdj.
Coach Ryby was able to convince Junior MLB Shayon Green to stay for his senior season but Junior HB Lamar Miller chose to go and play on Sunday's. Sophomore HB Storm Johnson looks to step right in and take over in Miller's absence next season.
Lost my starting QB (though not best OVR QB) and my 99 KPW punter. I also lost a freshman SS that probably would have moved to OLB and a TE but I'm not sure whether he was good or bad. I did manage to convince my starting HB to return.
I lost an 86 OVR CB RS Sophomore who had 7 picks and 3 TD's this year....he also returned punts and kicks
Also lost a junior 93 OVR DE. But losing my 3rd CB early in two years is killer.
I had a backup QB (RS So.) and a backup HB (RS Fr.) threaten to transfer to Cincinnati. I have the #s 5, 12, and 14 QBs in this year's class (all 4*) as well as a bunch of young HBs so I didn't want to waste a lot of time trying to keep these guys. I used a total of 40 minutes on the HB and 30 on the QB and both stayed.
I used two hours on each of those jabronis....
