Yeah, but that was an option pitch. I've had that happen plenty of times, and you have control over when to make the pitch, so I can live with it (though it is incredibly frustrating).
My highlight was WB Toss Str out of Flexbone - Normal. I think it went ridiculously wide because my wingback is incredibly fast. But that was the auto-toss and shouldn't realistically be possible.

Look at how much better that video looked. The video quality has taken a big hit over the last couple years. I remember a time when all PS3 videos were saved in their entirety too! I didn't expect to go backwards with this feature over time.
The fact that the PS3 only has 256 MB of RAM is primarily to blame. As the team adds more information to the replay (referees, sidelines, cheerleaders, etc, etc, etc), there's less room to store all of it in memory. NCAA 08 had nothing but graphics, unfortunately.
I do agree on the quality ... I think they're trying to save some bandwidth and have over-compensated.

I've had a few in our dynasty but nowhere near as many as I had this one season...I guess in some ways it's good but with the special teams blocking the way it is in '11 they've pretty much eliminated dangerous threats at returner you had to compensate for...

I won't let them off the hook with the RAM argument. There are times when the replay is long and others that are short. We had useful replays up until NCAA 11. And if the RAM is an issue, use the freaking hard drive! Every PS3 user has one. That's how DVR's work for crying out loud. Lots of PS3 games have replays and I'd like to know why they don't work well this year. Is EA trying to use the same system they have for the 360 which has twice the RAM? Why not do something PS3 specific.
