LOL... my OL Jeff Douglass' name was automatically changed to Jeff Douglas. I assume it's some sort of filter on the name to remove curse words but struck me as funny.

if this guy is not rated properly in ncaa 12 ill be very upset.
I guess OB was unable to schedule Washington.I really wanted more than 1 rivalry game.
do u have 12? i only have 11, beggars cant be choosers![]()
So, after a few games in I was wondering what everyone thought about their team? I am pleasantly surprised with how well my defense is playing.(granted only 2 games) I absolutely love my speed on defense, especially my linebackers. They fly around and have been making plays and it is a welcome addition. My d-line has stepped up so far this season which will be imperative later in the season.(looking at you Prime) Tyler Bray has been a welcome addition with his accuracy and decision making and it is nice to have all my weapons healthy on offense.
How about everyone else?
I like my team quite a bit, particularly my defense. My DL do exactly what I want them to do, eat up lots of space and blockers to allow my LBs and SSs to make plays.
My offense is still a work in progress as I learn how to adapt them to a new playbook but I like them... the one thing I don't like is that my starting HB has only 65 STA :/
Yeah, it is tough to get anything going when your HB has to come out after every other play.
I honestly can't tell yet. Only played 1 game so far and pulled most of my key players very early due to 2 huge user games my next 2 games to avoid any injuries.
My oline seemed to perform really well and they are my strength so I'm happy with that. My QB was dead on.
I like my team thus far.
I'm a little worried yet with my secondary, but my front 4 has played way above where I thought they'd be right now. I'm creating pressure from them without having to bring extra guys. This helps in the secondary.
I love my LB'rs they are like ryby said, quick and flow to the ball well.
Offense, is well Penn State. We run the ball and try to protect the rock while putting pressure on the defense to stop the run. I'm "ok" with my WR's right now, but not overly happy with them either. I have good speed, just need to take advantage of that to create some openings in the running game.
Honestly....better than I anticipated.
QB makes me feel like I have Peyton Manning on Madden.
RBs....little Earl is little Earl. Hopkins has been a pleasant surprise with his explosiveness....he's a 5'9" 200 rock with his trucking ability, stiff arm, etc....but I really feel that acceleration jump he improved during the offseason. FB Cody Anderson is beasting with his elite run blocking.
WRs....Roger Moss looks just like his Dad....just some superb seniors in front so if McDaniels should have a nice tall deep threat for 2015.
TEs....last season I didn't really feature this spot in the passing game....but I realized that it will make it easier for me to dump it short instead of looking for 20 completions every time I pass. The freshman looks to be in the same mold as Hall....tall, good blocker, and tough for the secondary to bring down without going for the legs.
OL....really pleased....especially with the "left side....strong side"....right side is young, but very talented.
DL....really nice to have some DTs that have power and finesse moves....usually....it was up to Jordan Hicks to make all the tackles, but we are really swarming the ball during the first 3 games. Found a future superstar in my strongside freshman end....he got the start over a 11 sack returning starter and he already has 5 sacks through 3 games....almost had 6, but got VinceYoung'd by Devin Gardner on a 3rd and 12.
LBs....Jordan Hicks is Jordan Hicks....really pleased with the outside guys....3 seniors here with plenty of experience in certain packages....fastest and most explosive LB corp in the country.
DBs....C.J. Gross has been that shutdown corner that we need with our style of play....Michael Carter dons #31 because he reminded me so much of 2006 Thorpe award winner Aaron Ross....not the most athletic....but very sound in run support, techiniques, and big plays.
My ability to redshirt nearly every freshman has definitely paid off big-time.
All 3 were LBs on the default roster
Benson was a MLB and Hicks was an OLB
