I'm actually going to be buying NCAA 08, 09, and 10 again so I can do some research. Thankfully, they're all ridiculously cheap by now (except 10, but it's getting consistently cheaper).

I stared with Bill Walsh College Football back on the Genesis. I never cared for the series on the PS 1. I have owned every game since the first was was released on the PS2.
Funny you mention that NB, I still play that here at work on an emulator. I play that and a few other games I enjoyed back then. Madden, NBA Live 95, etc.
I have owned them all (including Gamebreaker)
the oldest one I currently still have in possession is NCAA '04. Oldest one I've ever owned was the original Bill Walsh College Football. didn't own Bill Walsh '95, College Football USA '96 or ''97, but did play them. I bought and owned all the NCAA Football '98-'11 games.
For what it is worth, I also owned/played the titles from Sega (2K)

Not college but NES Playaction Football used to rock -
I was never a big college football guy - always an NFL guy that would watch a few big college games and some bowl games. My first game was NCAA 06 for the PS2 and I had to order it online since it couldn't be sold in Canada due to some regional restriction. In fact NCAA '07 was the first time the college game could be sold in Canada legally I believe. I totally fell in love with it and my love for college football grew after that to the point I prefer it over the NFL now.
As for trading in used games, I do it all the time even if I only get $4 for it. Most cases I'm not going to play the old again so why hang on to it? I'm not big on keep sakes as they just end up in boxes and take up storage space.
Well, since the research I want to do is dependent on getting 08, 09, and 10 ... yeah, I'm gonna have to get them all again. Not buying them new or anything foolish like that.
It occurred to me that this'll actually be the third time I've bought 10. Bought it, traded it in, got it on Ebay a few months later when an OD started up again, then traded it in again before 11. :: shrug ::

'08 with Jared Zabransky

Hah, hah... yeah I remember that too. I always had to order online and then pay huge shipping costs to bring it over the border... free trade my butt!!! I still have 06 and 07 on PS2. I still say that 06 was/is the most fun I have ever had with the series. The home field advantage was absolutely amazing to experience. Six seasons at ASU and then Five seasons at Michigan St. My #1 ever game is still saved on the PS2 memory card. In my first season with MSU I beat Michigan 7-6 at home in a massive, massive blizzard. With less than 10 seconds left I hit a long field goal to take the lead 7-6 (I had two sadties and was behind 6-4). The toughtest and most exciting game I have EVER played in any game, any genre!!!
I've owned them all, and still have every one from NCAA 98 on. I was also a big fan of the Gamebreaker series on the original PS.
What can I say...I loves me some CFB.![]()

I own '05, '07-'11.. only two on next-gen being 10 and 11.
I remember renting NCAA99-2000, but the first one I owned was NCAA2001. I have bought every one since then. I remember the original NCAAStrategies site convinced me to buy it.
Another Husker? Holy cow. I think the site should have ears of corn all over the front page!
