It looks like all I have to do next year is win the ACC to keep some of the 18 promises I have out to recruits.

Texas truly is "easy mode" recruiting. In my test OD, it's Week 9 and Texas already has 15 signees. Only one of those has come for a visit. Other than setting up some promises (I have 40+ to keep next season, lol), I've let the CPU do all the recruiting. This is ridiculous.

In one class, the mostly-CPU-controlled Texas just recruited an entire offensive line. 5 tackles, a guard, and a center. 4 of the tackles were 5-star players, too.

They signed 4 WRs ... all 4-star ... and only one of them was above 65 OVR. The other three couldn't catch worth anything, but had high enough SPD and whatnot to get high #s of stars.

I though this was kinda cool. Not sure if it's actually useful or not but..... I started playing around with Google Fusion Tables and they have a Geocode feature so I dumped my roster to see a mapped distribution. I know you can do this on the console but I'm bored

Man, I wish I could turn Road to Glory success into real success. Running an option offense, I got 18 rushing touchdowns in five games, including 5 rushing TDs against USC in the Rose Bowl.

Talk about what might have been ... Georgia's still got to simulate their Week 12 game, but right now I'm up 800 some yards on them in total passing. If Joe Germaine had been healthy all season, he'd probably be a runaway Heisman candidate right now.

I don't have a single 90+ player returning next year, however most if not all starters next year will be 80+ along with quite a few reserves.

So, I've all but confirmed that I can retire from the dynasty and still swap coaches. Basically, it works out like this:
1. Currently with Team A (Ohio State)
2. Retire from Team A, rejoin Dynasty as Team B
3. Set Team B to desired philosophy, retire from Team B
4. Rejoin Dynasty as Team A, swap teams from Team A to Team B

What you'll end up with is Team B with the original Team A's coach record, coach prestige (including promises that can be offered) and coaching philosophies. Vice versa for Team B.

So what this would allow me to do (or anybody else that wants to switch teams in the future) is retire from Ohio State, retire. Go to A&M, set them up like I want Ohio State to be in the future, retire. Go back to Ohio State and swap teams.

Now, the one thing my test also reminded me is that you can't change Coaching Philosophies in the offseason. So swapping teams needs to either be done during the bowls, or you wait until the Preseason.

I still haven't 100% decided that I'm moving on, but it's good to know how to do it.
