Two games....Romo vs. Chase for the SEC title, and myself vs. Solidice for the ACC title. Four days out is Saturday night but I have to DJ so the deadline will be extended until Sunday afternoon. Unless of course both games are in.

apparently our 2 games last season were so great that the game decided that we should never play each other ever again.

Edit: Scratch that, it amazingly decided to let us play after nearly 2 hours of trying different things.

Maryland finally overcomes the monkey on their back and get a win vs. Miami. a 28-14 victory, an ACC championship, and a BCS Bowl for the Terps.

Maryland jumped out to 21-0 lead mid-way into the 2nd quarter, the 3rd TD coming after a Miami Int. Miami would score a TD just before the half to cut it to 21-7. then the defenses came to play, and they didn't disappoint. no one scored in the 3rd quarter. Miami would score on their first drive in the 4th quarter on a 4th down play after a good long drive to close it to 21-14. It was looking like it could be another one of those Miami-Maryland OT games, but Maryland Defense would hold on a 4th down attempt on Miami's next drive. Maryland would add their last score on a 67 yard screen pass to Torrey Smith to make it 28-14. Miami's QB Ray Smith would throw his 2nd Int of the game and Maryland would run out the clock.

    another GG JB.

Player of the game honor would go to Maryland's QB Jamarr Robinson. 13-15 190 yards 3 TDs. a very good way to go out on his Senior season. Senior WR Torrey Smith had a great game as well, 4 catches 91 yards and 2 TDs.

Maryland held Miami's offense to -3 rushing yards, though it was mostly because of sacks and that Miami was in passing mode the majority of the game(49 pass attempts). The 2 Ints for Miami would end up being the big difference, Maryland did not turn the ball over once.

Maryland is looking at a 10 game win streak going into the Bowl games.

After choking in their last regular season game, UM dominates Oregon in the Rose Bowl, 49-13. The Ducks tacked on their only TD of the game late in the 4th quarter after being swarmed under by UM's new defensive look all game.

Denard Robinson passed for 233+ yards and rushed for 101 yards, while young RB Fitz Toussaint added 101 yards on the ground. Roy Roundtree caught 3 passes, all resulting in TDs, for the Wolverines. The Wolverine defense collected 2 sacks during the game as well as a fumble return for a TD.
The Wolverines finished with 261 team rushing yards and no turnovers, while holding LaMichael James to just 30 rushing yards.

Michigan finishes with 1 loss on the season.

Northwestern ends their season on a high note beating a team that defeated them in week one of the regular season 34-24 in the Capital One Bowl. Defense was the name of the game for the Wildcats as they were able to scoop two fumbles and return them for touchdowns and then in the second half get their offense going as they pulled away late in the fourth quarter.

Northwestern finishes the season with an 11-2 record and a probable top 10 ranking.

All teams have played and we are ready to advance.

FYI Romo was fired from Alabama.

Subsequently, Arkansas was quick to hire him. He will take over during the post-season recruiting period.
