Oh, I understand completely, OB. I knew exactly why Major was brought in at the position he was. And I can totally understand why getting rid of Davis is glorious for you and Papa.

But, to me, unless Major is put in charge of the QBs, it's clear that the coaching staff is still nonsense. I agree that a major name would be more likely (though Major as OC might go over better with the fans, actually), and is probably the right way to go.

I would like the off-season to go something like this:

    Remove Greg Davis - Done
Remove Mac McWhorter (OL Coach) - Done according to reports
Remove Mike Tolleson (Special Teams/DL) Done according to reports
Remove Jeff Madden (SC Coach) - Done according to reports
    Remove Bobby Kennedy (WR/Recruiting Coordinator)
    Remove Bruce Chambers (TE/Recruiting Coordinator)

Move Major to QB Coach\Co-OC\Passing Game Coordinator
Hire one of Bryan Harsin (Boise State), Dana Holgorsen (great OC, but not as high on him, Oklahoma State), Mark Whipple (Miami) for OC
Hire Eric Bieniemy (Minnesota Vikings) as RB Coach\Recruiting Coordinator
Hire Trooper Taylor (Auburn) as WR Coach\Recruiting Coordinator
Hire Mike Moffitt (LSU) as Strength and Conditioning coach
Hire Stacy Searels (Georgia) as Offensive Line\Running Game Coordinator
Hire\bring back Tim Brewster (Minnesota) as Tight Ends coach

If all this happend I would be a happy Texas fan.

EJ Manuel gets the start tonight in the ACC title game vs va tech, should give you all a preview of what offense FSU will be running next season with him under center. Go Noles.

Another rumor is that Jim Jeffcoat may be the one to replace Tolleson as the DL coach. He'd be able to coach his son.

Bieniemy is expected to be named OC for Colorado.

    Good list though.

Yeah, I wasn't all that consistant though. I haven't been playing regularly so it all depends on the map.

So ... how's that going for you so far?

Muschamp leaving would be a hell of a shot.

When I first read this I thought you were just commenting on a rumor. Then once I saw the crawl on ESPN I was shocked. I knew he wasn't happy with everything that happend this past season (who would be) but what this tells me is that Mack isn't retiring anytime soon/hasn't given a time line and Will doesn't want to wait or there are still problems within the program/he doesn't like the direction the coaching hires are going.

Makes me wonder what effect this will have on recruiting and the new coaches we were already talking to, will Will try to bring those same coaches with him to UF.

2010 has been a really bad year to be a Longhorn.

It also means you're going to be replacing a large, large segment of coaches. Ouch.

Looks like Will is taking Applewhite with him and there are rumors Duane Akina as well. That will leave us with two coaches I believe on staff outside of Brown.

It is going to be interesting this offseason to see if any PSU staff bolt in anticipation of Joe's final year of his contract.

For me I'd be OK with Bradley, Kenney (Tackle and TE coach, which is retarded by the way) and Anderson (Center and Guards) which makes 2 guys coaching the Oline which is the exact reason why PSU has not had a dominate line play since mid 90's.

I'd like to see Galen Hall (RB and offensive coordinator) who calls all the run plays, and Jay Paterno the (QB coach) who calls all the pass plays during a game gone too.

After writing this, it just fires me up even more then when I just sit and think about it. We don't even have a special teams coach, my friend the speed and conditioning coach does the players in and out because there isn't a designated coach to do so. Just sickening, just sickening.

If you guys are interested in replacing Guru, I am definitely interested in the spot. If not, just keep me in mind please.

It looks like all I have to do next year is win the ACC to keep some of the 18 promises I have out to recruits.
