(assuming we have any influence whatsoever) I guess what I am really getting at is how far into the cycle are the developers now with 200 days (est.) until the release of the next game and what is the likelyhood of anything WE say actually transfering into the game for NCAA 12? It would be awesome if the Tiburon developers would post on this site (I think they would find it far, far, far less negative/venemous than other sites... cough, cough... O.S. cough...
Like JHC posted from Ben, the NCAA 12 features are relatively set but I would think/hope/expect that what they see from the tourney helps as it relates to ideas for 13 but also implementation of features in 12. There's been a lot of discussion on each feature in the tourney and how people would like to see them implemented that I think would be helpful.

Is the bracket from last year's tourney still available? Since there may not be enough time to implement features from this year's tourney into 12 I think it'd be interesting to see what won last year to see what actually made it in for 11 and what could be on tap for 12. It'd also provide perspective on whether the wishlist has been consistent over the past year.

True but the important thing is that it's in the top two this year and won last year. How much more of a message could be sent that this is a must have feature?

^^^ my thoughts exactly... the rest of these features are obvious by making it this far, but this a good top 2, and previous winner is a MUST HAVE... MUST... HAVE...

It's also worth noting the Final Four:
Formation Subs, Custom Playbooks, Correct Option Blocking, Better Offensive Playbooks

I'd say we got 3 of the 4.

i've never played the ncaa basketball series which many of you praise how the coaching carousel was done, so how much of an effect would the offensive, defensive, and special teams coordinators have on your team's play?

like if you set your team's roster to the default cupcake roster, before the coaches are signed, your ratings in offense, defense, and special teams are gonna be rated D, D-, D (or close to it). if you go out and sign an o.c. who's rated with having an A+ offense, how much of a "boost" does he provide to your offensive play?

Just for the sake of clarity, mvp, most of us are praising the College Hoops series. I don't believe the NCAA Basketball series had a carousel.

It's also important to know that, in the College Hoops series, it would be rare to have a team that low rated but with a highly rated coach. The quality of your assistants was tied into the quality of the coach you were playing as. And normally if you were playing with a low rated team, then you would be just starting out in Dynasty/Legacy mode, so you'd be a low-rated coach ... y'know?

The attributes in CH were Teaching, Offense, Defense, Recruiting and Charisma? Something like that. Offense and Defense would, primarily, get your players to gain rating points faster in offensive categories, especially offensive awareness, during in-season progression. I would imagine in NCAA that an A+ Offensive coordinator would primarily increase the AWR progression of offensive players. You might also see "special" attributes like SPC, ELU, etc, raise faster. CTH, AGI, and other "technique" ratings would be more likely to be under "Teaching", if you can imagine that being related to the quality of practice, or how the coach teaches the fundamentals.

Of course, we have no idea how the Tiburon team would implement Coaching Carousel. This is all just hypothetical at this point.
