i love las vegas sands, if it was a women i would buy it 4 dozen roses and a diamond ring.

Im not looking forward to recruiting next year, i need to get a texas type hunk of good luck with top prospects to fill some critical positions of need and im not sure the game will give it to me

looking over everyones rosters, i think michigan will make the biggest move as they have a super young team that will see some size-able jumps in off season progression and the only key loss seems to be at RB.

Miami is going to take a big hit at QB and WR, losing 4 of the top 5 WRs will hurt and i dont like any of the QBs on the roster at all, but im sure Tex will make the necessary playbook adjustments to be competitive.

FSU loses its top 3 Linebackers and top 3 WRs which will be their biggest losses, as the WRs behind them are unproven and have ratings gimpyness from weird EA initial ratings. The LBs will be the biggest loss though, they have mostly masked an average DL with their excellent play.

USC and Texas probably have the best initial rosters in our OD, so trouble is not there yet and with good recruiting we might not see a drop off, Im wondering if Connor Wood transfers from texas though with the logjam of talent at the QB position.

Clemson's offense should get better with great QB depth and WRs progressing, but the RBs are starting to get pretty thin and the OL only has another year in them before it starts to get dicey. The defense is also starting to thin out and will need some help at CB and DT imo.

wiscy and tsou sort of look the same to me right now, i would kill to have wiscy's OL who all seem to be badass So(rs) lol. Skill positions look ragged but great coaching will put them in position to win.

Have not looked at Oregon or Vatech since coaching flux is still in the air.

Next year ought to be interesting for USC. Offensively we should be fairly dominated with Barkley hopefully returning and a stable of WRs and young RBs behind a good Oline. The defense is going to be iffy with possibly replacing the entire Dline if Armstead leaves early and replacing starting MLB, FS and SS. The young guys I brought in this class are going to have to step up early.

That is true, been trying to get some backups in as far as QB, but they are terrible. terrible, terrible. I didnt realize that my backups were that bad until this year and didnt really recruit. So next year will def be a rollercoaster on offense for sure

    LOL, just messing.

But I was just looking and OUCH. I knew how many and what positions but really looking at it like this has me really concerned.

I'm losing top HB, FB, WR

Losing 3 of 5 Starting Offensive Lineman

Losing all 4 Starting Defensive Lineman

    Losing 2 of 3 Starting LB'rs

    Losing 2 CB's (1 starter, one Dime)

    Losing both Starting Safeties

    Losing Punter.

Penn State, needs this year for a run because next year is going to be brutal. OUCH.

Here's an early look at Wisconsin's depth chart next year...

Ratings are still from this year's game... class is updated.

My biggest concerns right now are FB where I have no one, TE where I will hopefully have one, and defensive tackle. I don't know why but thus far I have found it extrmely hard to recruit FB's and TE's. I've got 2 nose tackles right now and if things go right in the off season I may have one DT.

Tate Forcier will likely return and be 90+ ovr however there are rumors coming out of Ann Arbor that Forcier has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff and they may turn to Devin Gardner next year. At HB Michael Cox who rushed for 1800 yards last year should return from his injury this year and true freshmen Nate Cleveland who will rush for 1200+ yards this year should see the bulk of the carries next season. Speedsters Vincent Smith and Fitzgerald Tousaint should again handle kick return duties and see some action on offense. At fullback there are two walk on's from last year and nothing in the pipeline thus far to take over.

Wide receiver will be interesting as Roy Roundtree should return, Darryl Stonum will return from medical redshirt, Ronnie Lewis who is redshirting this season should make a big splash next season as well. Behind them will be JeRon Stokes and two incoming freshmen.

At tightend there is Brandon Moore who better come back because there is no one else. Rocko Khoury who is playing LG this season may slide outside to be a blocking TE but unless the recruiting tables turn this position is looking mighty thin.

Along the offensive line some alignment of RS Jr Patrick Omameh (LT may move to RG), FR Logan Cooper (LT), RS Jr Ricky Barnum (LG), RS So Quinton Washington (RG), RS So Taylor Lewan (RT), FR Bill Sykes (C), Rec Greg Buchanan (OG) will see most of the playing time.

Defensive end is going to be interesting as I am losing the perfect strongside DE in Ryan Van Bergen. If Craig Roh decides to come back for his senior season which I have every reason to believe he will, he will move from the weakside to the strong side where he is a better fit although not a perfect fit. On the weakside we will have pass rushing specialists Darren Jennings a JUCO transfer from last year, RS Fr Ken Wilkins who depending on the offseason could win the job and incoming freshman (ESPN 150) Chris Haynes will likely see most of his action in passing situations.

At nose tackle RS So William Campbell will man the middle, at 6'5'' 330+ pounds he is a perfect fit, incoming recruit Brandon Coe (4-star) will back him up and play some at 3-tech if no one currently on the roster can grab hold of the position.

Speaking of the 3-tech RS Fr Richard Ash is the only one capable and he shows the athletic ability to play the position but the coaches are worried about his strength. With a solid offseason in the weight room he could take the reigns.

Linebacker was a position of weakness this season with only two players capable of holding up against the bruising nature of the Big 10, only problem is that one of them is graduating and the other is really best suited for special teams play. The coaching staff however did a great job of addressing this need by bringing in two ESPN Top 150 recruits in #1 OLB William Logan who will likely move to MLB and #2 OLB Ricky Woods who will play on the strong side. Brett Nash joined the group and will move from MLB where he played in high school to weakside linebacker where he can really use his athletic ability, Nash will back up last years top linebacking recruit Jarred Roberts.

RS Jr Kenny Demens will backup William Logan at MLB and will see most of his playing time on special teams. He'll only see time on defense in mop up duty or if Logan struggles. If Woods were to be injured Logan would move to the strongside and Demens would then step in at MLB as well.

Junior Brandin Hawthorne will play the money position in the nickle unless RS Jr safety Jordan Kovacs is able to take the position away, if so Hawthorne will only see time on special teams.

At cornerback the same cast returns in RS Jr JT Floyd, RS So JT Turner, RS Fr Demar Dorsey and RS Fr Cullen Christian, they will be a year older and the coaching staff expects them to hold down the secondary all of whom have done a good job this year. Freshman Eddie Long shows good athletic ability but needs to work on his coverage skills.

At Safety Junior Vladimir Emilien will return to the rover position and make plays as he has done throughout his career and Thomas Gordon will patrol the deep using his superior athletic abiltiy to generate turnovers.

Both specialits are underclassmen this year and will return as probably the best unit in the Big 10.

I know Papa is having the same problem but is anyone else having problems with practice mode within the OD? Everytime I enter the game freezes. If anyne has any solutions it would be greatly appreciated.

Not much changing for OSU next year, except a year older and wiser. We lose our "best" two receivers, but only one of them will realistically be missed. Our 3 freshmen TEs will become 2 sophomores and a redshirt.

The defensive side of the ball is the only real concern ... losing stellar players at both DEs and a MLB that has anchored the defense. Losing some secondary players too, but that should be the easiest place to reload.

Since we are getting close to the end of the year I figured I'd start talking OOC games. I'd like to play PSU and Michigan again and complete the home/home series if either of you are up for it.

I should be available any night this week to get it done. I only have 2 guys on my board and will probably toss a couple on from the new recruits.

I assume with Papa's schedule, it would have to be this weekend.
