The victory assured the Astros that a fourth consecutive 100+ loss season would not be in the cards this season, securing a goal the team had set back in Spring.
The Astros (63-62) will have Monday off before continuing their current 10-game road trip by playing 3 in New York against the Yankees (53-71).
After the trip to the Big Apple, Houston will finish the trip with a 3-game weekend series in Cleveland against the Indians.
