Powerhouse OD - General Discussion Thread

This doesn't exactly count as new blood, but if you guys start over with 2014 rosters, I'd appreciate someone checking with me, just to see if I'm available. Life's changed a lot over the last year, but I do miss playing and who knows what my schedule will be in a month or two.

I almost wouldn't mind starting over to be honest. It would be nice to get you back in Jeff!

We can have another vote at the end of the season. A 5-2 vote was needed to pass and we didn't get it last season.

At this point, are we talking about completely starting over, starting over with 2014 rosters? As well, would we be editing the rosters to bring in our current teams?

Even with starting over (if y'all do) I know everyone may not have a ps4 but what's the plan when madden comes out?

Powerhouse will continue on NCAA 14 as long as the servers are up.

I'd say if we restart, there are two options that I'm open to...

1. Use 2014 rosters but edit in our current teams (I've worked too hard to build this team and I don't want to give it up)
2. Do a death-penalty dynasty... sim through 4-5 seasons, removing the best players each season.

Outside of those two, I'd seriously consider retiring until Madden comes out.

According to this, The latest file is under natezilla14

There are still changes/updates to be made but it sounds like all teams have at least been touched and should be moderately accurate.

I'm actually down for either.

I wouldn't mind trying a death penalty one as I never have, but with a different school. I'm starting to get tired of Oklahoma.

We'd still use powerhouse teams in death penalty. We'd just be depleted.

Two questions for those more experienced with NCAA 14:
1. Does saving the OD ever stop it from downloading again?
2. Does the offensive or defensive playbook have an effect on the number of players per position before you get a competitive visit?
