So during the phone call when St. Louis was on the clock, Sam let them know this documentatry was already signed for and going on and asked if the Rams were cool with it. So at the time they were and went ahead and picked him.

ESPN - Letter signed by 50 U.S. senators sent to Roger Goodell urging NFL to "endorse" Redskins "name change".

I don't see how this will never happen. It just keeps growing legs.

It's not growing legs. People are just ignorant and don't understand that the name was never meant to mean anything but respect towards Indians. And as long as the NFL tells them to go take a long walk off a short pier, absolutely nothing will change, therefore, it will never change because the NFL isn't stupid enough to force the second richest team in it's league to change it's name.

Dumbest way of showing respect I've ever seen.

I do, and always will, think Pete Carroll is a sleezy, lying sack of shit.

That said, very nice move by Seattle.

ESPN - Hall of Fame QB Dan Marino reportedly joins thousands of former players suing NFL over concussions.

Hard up for cash, Dan? I mean, seriously, of all QBs, he NEVER got hit.

ESPN - Dan Marino to withdraw from concussion-related lawsuit against NFL - South Florida Sun-Sentinel

    I'd guess he was either:

    A) paid off
    B) told he could not be part of any NFL TV anymore
    C) threatened by the Goodell Family

    D) All of the above

Don't think his was necessarily about the money..even though it in the end has to deal with money. Think these guys are getting afraid of the symptoms they or other players who have played are starting to have and want someone else held accountable maybe.

Is anyone else sick of Peter King? I rarely read his MMQB anymore. He's biased at times (crazy how much he'll defend Jeff Fisher and act horrified that Dolphin players would joke about having sex with JMart's sister) and I don't think he knows his actual football overly well. He's a story spinner. Certainly he has good sources and I think his actual writing skills are top shelf but his personal slant on things can bug me.

If you don't want to pay your QB someone else will.

But that much? That makes him the highest paid QB in the league. That's insane. The dude isn't even in the top 5.
