Well, I'll definitely be in a for a treat then, because I've never actually played any version of The Show. The only MLB games I've ever played was the old MVP series on PS2 and then MLB 2K on 360. So it would be my first foray into The Show series. And based on the pictures I saw posted in The Show thread, fucking amazing.
As for the taxes, unfortunately it's the old paper version. My dad has done accounting stuff for years (works for ADP right now as head of a team that goes around from client to client, so he's usually jetting around the country every week from Sunday or Monday to Friday or Saturday) and has handled all of the tax stuff in the family (my taxes, my sister's taxes, his/my mom's taxes, etc) for as long as I can remember. He's damn good at finding every deduction he can and getting the maximum return possible.
It works, but he insists on doing it all via paper instead of online, which means by the time it gets mailed in, gets reviewed, etc., and the money is sent via direct deposit, it's a couple week wait for the money to show up. I think last year he didn't get around to do taxes until the last weekend before the 15th and I didn't see the money until the second week of May or so. He's already done the taxes for him and my mom, did them this past weekend, so I'm hoping he'll be able to sit down and get my taxes knocked out this weekend and then I could possibly see the money by mid or late April.
As for availability, I actually should be good. I just pulled up Gamestop, the 8 closest stores to me by miles, 5 (including the store right here in town) show PS4 in stock, the other three show it in stock but with low stock. And I remember them having a good supply of PS4s in the store when I went in and picked up Titanfall last week. Walmart.com also shows PS4s in stock at the store in my town as well. So I should be good there when I eventually get around to buying a PS4. There doesn't seem to be too big a rush on the PS4 here in town, and it'll be at least a month before I actually get a chance to buy one, by which time any rush will have (or at least should have) declined even more by then.
