It has half the cache. Not sure if that is a big difference in performance or not.

Yeah from what I read it might make a slight difference but no biggy. Placed my order for that one (with the TGT kickback link - i think)

I feel better about a Western Digital HDD than a Samsung one.

Meh I've had pretty good luck with Samsung products so we shall see. I also checked and my PS3 HDD which worked was 8MB Cache and it was the same spec that came with the PS3 b/c I was anal about making sure it exactly matched last time. I suspect the PS4 HDD will be 8 MB Cache as well.

I always go Western Digital with my HDDs. Haven't had an issue yet with one and I've bought plenty of them over the years as I've upgraded.
