college players have liked playing EA ncaa too for years. $320 to kill 20 years of fun ?

I wouldn't be surprised if the majority were willing to sign a waiver to be in the/a game for no pay in the future depending on how the whole thing ends. ..but all I ever got was 50 bucks in a class action LOL

OMG All this for $320 per person? Congratulations Douchebags. You're life is richer now. By the way, you're still BROKE because you didn't work hard enough to get to the League... oh yeah and now you're WAY MORE BROKE because you have to pay your lawyers. But hey, at least you got paid your dues for "appearing" in the game! Retards

Nope. Usually they get a "little more" than the unnamed class members. All of the named class members Keller, O'Bannon and the current named players will probably get a "little" more for being the named Plaintiffs but we are NOT even talking six figures for them most likely.

They basically ended NCAA Football/Basketball video games b/c of a grudge they have against the NCAA and will receive at best several thousand dollars which they will blow and be broke again within 6 months.

Nah the Lawyers will be paid directly through the settlement proceeds.

EA writes the big $40 million check. It goes to a class action administrator who takes a cut for himself to do a mail merge and then he/she then sends the $300 check out to each class member and the $13.3 million dollar check to Plaintiff's counsel.

This was only a settlement with EA and the CLC. O'Bannon still has an ongoing case against the NCAA. I am sure that is where his lawyers think the big money is to be made.

    and

From USA Today, the athletes who still have something to gain outside the settlement.

That leaves the NCAA as the lone defendant in a case whose named plaintiffs include former UCLA basketball star Ed O'Bannon, former Arizona State and Nebraska football player Sam Keller and five current football players.
