Any one see the face book page. no ncaa game next year. damn next gen is gonna get push aside damn it.
Very sad day today. A huge part of my personal life is/was NCAA gaming. Losing NCAA basketball hurt but this is a real killer. I really am wondering if I should cancel my ps4 and call it a day on future gaming...
Yeah, NCAA is my one guaranteed purchase every year. It's definitely going to leave a massive gap in my summer, especially since it's the only new release game that I purchase every year between May and July. I'll still be able to find enough to make buying an Xbox One worth it. I'll still have Halo, NHL, still have FIFA, still have Battlefield, Call of Duty (when I eventually buy it down the road for cheap), Assassin's Creed, new games like Watch Dogs, Titanfall, etc. So I'll still have plenty of games to play on the next-gen consoles. But it'll be a very noticeable gap never seen an NCAA title on it. And this also means I'll now have to permanently keep my Xbox 360 hooked up so I can keep going in my coaching carousel dynasty into the future.
Cancel the preorder, keep playing the games you have and then wait and see what the next generation brings. The great thing about being a late adopter to next gen is you have a ton of games out there for cheap. I was going to wait until lNext Gen NCAA hits before I jumped on a PS4, now I might wait a bit longer. You can still keep the Ps3 to play the NCAA Football/Basketball games and eventually enjoy PS4 games at the same time,
I am going on a hunt for a copy of NCAA Basketball 10 and my collection will be full of every sports game to play while I hibernate through all the next gen hype.
is there any way that they could issue more patches and features, now that there would be 2 years or more til the next game would be released?
I was going to go on a rant... Then I just realized it does not make a shit, EA cares about one thing, the investors. Just look at the poor souls over on the Tiger Woods Forum trying to get answers for months about a stinking patch. After 6 months a simple yes or no should be possible. I feel for all the Game Changers that can't answer these questions and EA employees like Hands who obviously have the voices duck tapped by EA Corporate. If only those corporate mongloids could just see what happens when you provide customer service and how it no only benefits them but also their employees.
I love Borderlands 2. I love the passion the development team has for the game and that 2K allows Gearbox the freedom to show it. I have bought every single piece of DLC for this game and will continue to do so, not just because it has provided hundreds of hours of fun but because I am supporting the hundreds of hours of fun when Borderlands 3 arrives. I buy stuff I will never even use, like outfits for characters I will not play as. I love that they continue supporting the game with brilliant additional content like the Tiny Tiny DLC. Even after the Season Pass DLC they are adding more. Just last week they released that more people are playing this game more, a year later, that at launch. I wonder why?
EA gave me those feelings in the Genesis days but since then there has always been a struggle in one form or another. Remember this is the company that shipped out a College Basketball game on the PS2 without a season mode.
Time to get back to making the customer happy which in return will make for very happy investors. We will have no NCAA or TW for however long so why no support the damn thing right now, the game that actually exits. Sadly it looks like a couple more cases of NCAA Basketball 10, except for these games got one patch.
Joystiq has posted the full press release from the Lanier Law Firm.
One aspect of the settlement: Based on this settlement and other recent court rulings, EA Sports has agreed to change the way it develops future games featuring NCAA athletes in order to protect the rights to their likenesses.
I had no intention of purchasing a next gen console this year anyway, but as a result of today's announcement I no longer have a reason to ever buy one.![]()
I haven't kept an NCAA game longer than 2 months the past 3-4 versions.
Atleast now no urge to resist buying it
Expected this to happen as things weren't looking good at all once team/s and conference/s started thinking of dropping
May be able to make come back once dust clears. But will there be interest? Leaving on a bad note..ala Live
If you need a forum to be all rainbows and sunshine, move your ass here.
I would imagine he is here because he has been a member for quite some time and has plenty of friends in here, including myself. Ranting is what Michael does and by golly he is consistent. He just want's something better than what they are releasing. His comments won't change the fact I paid $59.99 plus tax and have found some enjoyment in the game.
