A certian user? I remember Jeffery Lumpkin at the after game party talking smack about that vaunted Alabama defense. I also remember a certian OLB making Tennessee is home afterwards.

Boy do I not miss that Alabama team...I am sure Texas isn't any less daunting, hopefully I will be able to find out soon.

I was thinking about that earlier today. With all the talk about how we weren't going to give Papa another Bama ... what the hell were we thinking giving him Texas?

I learned my lesson on last year's game....I beat a certain user in this dynasty 58-10 at home....then 31-10 on the road....so with those results....the 3rd year....I got cocky and brought EVERY SINGLE recruit in for that week 7 home game....lost 21-19 and KILLED my recruiting class. A good reason why I will openly politic for Kingpin to take over Oregon next year. Win-win situation....he gets better talent and a better program....and I get another cpu rival :-)

I actually would be open to taking over Oregon. As much as I love my future Alma Mater, I can't stand my damn defense.

Actually....the biggest help for me during those first few years was that Tex took his favorite team instead of Florida....a better defense....and I probably would've lost my first user game during the first season.

I will enjoy this year's version MUCH better if I'm able to even get even an inch close to the run I had last year. I felt so dirty after January 2010 hit.

Crap....I knew it was gonna happen. Kingpin was on for a good amount earlier....now he's off....and psuexv is online....lol. Nothing worse than waiting to advance TO a bye week. I got plenty of practice today while fighting this cold (got it from my son who got it from my mother-n-law....first time sick since February 2009)....switched playbooks to get ready for some guys that I hope to get signed during this recruiting season.

Yes, but now we've got USC, Michigan, Ohio State (I think), Miami, Florida State and maybe Va Tech.

If you're talking 6-star, nope .... 5-star for me. Tried to be realistic to mid-90s OSU. We just weren't quite in that upper echelon.

The worst part of this year's game, to me, is that Texas and USC have ridiculous recruiting advantages. The combination of Pipeline and the love of the players at home puts them over the top. Ohio players are nothing to cough at either, but CA and TX have the advantage for sure.

EA needs to give us some sort of playbook creator. All I want to do is pick my formations and then put x number of already created plays into said formation. I get so frustrated looking for new playbooks.

Meh. You can do just about everything you could do in Fluff's tool (in fact, more because of flexibility) with G's playbook spreadsheet.

I guess I need to play with it....that's how I found Fresno State's playbook....but I was looking for all playbooks with Ace, Ace Twin TE, I-formation (with regular HB slam), a 5-wide shotgun set, and shotgun ace or playbooks with that has at least 4 out of my 5 favorites that way I could go through 'em all and find the one that makes me smile the most.

Well, the only thing there that Fluff's search tool would give you is "with HB Slam". However, he was basing that off of VGChartz's file last year, and to say they had some problems would be an understatement.

As for the rest of it ... go here. I could probably come up with the exact string you're looking for, but it'll take me some thinking.

That would be him and the position is what I thought he might be. I probably should have taken him last year as I need a FB but I was a little worried to say the least. Nice find.
