Randal is correct in his depiction of the LOTR movies.
That said Star Wars fans are right up there with Nascar and Wraslin fans.

They've shown that exact movie probably 100 times since June. It seems like it's always on at least once or twice a week.
Sorry man, but Star Wars is cool for this one reason more than anything:
Then you're able to have intellectual conversations about small things like that in a movie, it's far deeper than you think (this coming from someone that really only likes Empire Strikes Back, finds Return of the Jedi Lucas' first real attempt at selling merchandise for his franchise and nothing more, and thinks A New Hope is only ok).

While I enjoy pro wrestling, there are many, many wrestling fans that I don't want to be associated with.

I was in college during the Attitude Era and wrestling on Monday night was the thing to watch. I can't watch it now. The wrestlers aren't interesting and the crowd seems dead most of the time.
Going to TV-PG killed the crowds because there are much more mom's and kid's, and it definitely killed the creativity.

I tend to think what made Wraslin' suck was the fact you had two large men, generally in tight shorts, oiled up and jumping on each other, with outcomes that were predetermined. Pretty much a softcore *** porn soap opera.

Anyway, I evicted this motherfucker today as I now own his house (it's what I do). He left some shit there including a small deep freezer so I decided to go on craigslist to see what I could sell it for and if it was worth the hassle.
