Of course it's "liberals" when all they want to do is remove the stereotype of certain toys being for certain genders of children. Will it change anything at the manufacturer level? No. But it will slowly change the societal perception of dolls being for girls and action figures being for boys or trucks and cars being for boys and stuffed animals being for girls.
You'll agree that there's nothing wrong with a boy playing with a doll or a girl playing with a toy car right? Then what's the issue with removing the segregation of "these aisles are for boys toys and these aisles are for girls toys"? Give children the freedom to chose what they want to play with just like we adults have the freedom to chose other things. Why have anything that restricts that idea for them? I mean, they're children for god's sake. They should be worry free of that type of stuff for as long as possible.
I never played with dolls. I had a teddy bear but threw it out the window of a moving car. Boys and Girls are different, why is it so hard for people to understand such a simple concept? My biggest problem is with the feminists who go apeshit anytime they see a girl purchase something pink or a Barbie instead of buying Lego's or something black. They are the grandest of the hypocrites as they try to mold females into something they think a girl should be, which is basically a man with a vagina. I think most parents let their kids make choices about what they want to wear and play with. Within reason of course.
One could easily flip the question around with saying what it is wrong with having a boys isle and a girls isle? Nobody is preventing kids from going into the other isle. All stores are doing is providing an easy way to find toys that tend to sell to specific genders. They do not force a doll upon a girl or Lego's on a boy. When do they stop? We have separate boys/girls clothing and footware sections. Are we not creating the same societal perception of dresses being for girls and pocket shirts being for boys? Should that change in your mind? I guess scientists should focus all their efforts on genetics and work towards the grand solution of making all babies born as hermaphrodites. Dicks and Vaginas for everyone.
I can see the future now. Imagine seeing 3 or 4 of these guys every time you went into a fast food restaurant.
