I don't get all this horseshit Sony is stewing up anyway. Live Arcade has long been the better place for indies. For YEARS, Sony's store was an absolute joke and has only recently begun to get better (why? because the Live Arcade was making a killing off these types of games). I realize there wasn't any self-publishing, but let's be real here, if the game is of any quality whatsoever, they can find a publisher and get their game on Live.
Same goes for Sony all of the sudden being the white knight for having an easy to develop for console. I nearly bust a nut laughing every time I hear someone say that as an advantage. Developers spent this entire generation with their pain in the ass to develop for console, so of course it's a huge relief that Sony is going back to a more PC like architecture. You know why Microsoft isn't getting reaped with all the glory of being easy to develop for? BECAUSE THE 360 WAS ALWAYS EASY TO DEVELOP FOR AND THE ONE IS USING A SIMILAR ARCHITECTURE, SO DUH, IT'S GOING TO BE EASY TO DEVELOP FOR. They just don't have to say that because their previous console wasn't a pain in the ass.
It's unbelievable to me how quickly everyone forgets all the shit Sony has pulled simply because they're priced cheaper and they used the public's uninformed opinions about the One to rile up more support for their system.
I especially think it's funny how everyone was all up in Microsoft for possibly invading everyone's privacy with Kinect, and yet they forget how Sony didn't tell customers that their credit cards were potentially exposed until AN ENTIRE WEEK after they were hacked and brought down for a month a few years ago.
Some of you guys need to realize that Sony and/or Microsoft aren't your friends. They want your money. Nothing else. We just all better be thankful that they both exist, otherwise we'd be seeing some $800 console with 24/7 required DRM and $100 games.
