Its almost as bad as the Obama apologists.
I agree with him, but I'm not a fan of his. He promised the moon with his games and never even came close to delivering.
However, the Xbox One that was ORIGINALLY revealed was a lot more attractive to me than the one we have now. They had a potentially amazing system that they did a horrific job of explaining how things will work, and then folded under pressure. Now, they're pretty much like Sony - releasing a rehashed machine that is basically the same thing with upgraded graphics. I'm highly disappointed with how this gen is beginning. The launch games suck for the most part for both systems, none of them have any appealing features that justify dropping $400+ for one of them, etc...
Honestly, unless I'm blown away by one of these two at Gamecom at the end of the month, I'll just keep my orders and then sell them once they come out. My interest in both of these consoles lessen the more I think about them. The only game I HAVE to have is Titanfall, and I can play that on PC.

In case you need to catch up on the 41 pages this sums it up nicely:
I still don't get why they harp so much on the indie games, a casual fan doesn't give two shits about indie games, which is whom both consoles should be trying to get ; they already have the hardcore crowd no matter which system they use.
Overall it really did sum up CLW and IOU's conversation thread AKA the xbox one thread
All of the harping about Indie games isn't for the consumer, it's for the developer. Sony had went from hardest platform to program for and therefore hardest for an Indie developer to release on to easier to program for and no limitations on releasing on. Microsoft had to follow suit sooner or later or Sony was going to lock down all the important Indie games and leave Microsoft sitting there wanting but not getting any.
As for consumers not caring about Indie games, that's entirely not true at all. That may be the case for you, but the 8 million units that were sold of Mojang's Minecraft on the 360 (at $15 a pop) have something different to say about it. People are more interested than ever in Indie games (myself included) as that is where the truly good games are coming from.
So, Microsoft and Sony absolutely care about Indie games and it's about fuckin' time as they've missed out on some of the best games in the past 5 years because of their shortsightedness.
There's no one company that manufacturers those. There's only one Microsoft Xbox 360.
You get a Dell..."oh well that's Dell's". You get an Acer..."oh well sorry lol", etc, etc
Laptops go through more of a rugged life as well which not all people take very good care of
And lastly sometimes even the common person can fix most of your issues with a laptop (hard drive replacement, memory upgrade, CPU replacement)
