Yes, going for it on fourth and one inside the 5 yard line to try and get a 17 point lead instead of only a 13 point lead (which, a touchdown, onside kick and/or defensive stand and touchdown, he goes from winning 13-0 to losing 14-13) and try to secure the win, yes, oh so cheesy. That has got to be the absolute stupidest fucking thing I have read this entire week. It's not even remotely close to him being a selfish dick and it being cheese. It was 10-0, of course he's going to take the gamble inside the 5 yard line and try for a three touchdown lead as opposed to only a two touchdown lead. That's called sealing the fucking game. It that's cheese, then apparently going for it on fourth down AT ALL is fucking cheese.
Then what exactly was the point? Other than you think someone going for it on fourth and one inside the 5 yard line with only a 10-0 lead is cheese and makes them a selfish dick, which is not even close to be true or accurate.
Like bdoughty said, this is nothing but crying about spilled milk. You even said, he was perfectly fine up until this "supposedly" cheesy play, which is actually perfectly legitimate. So because he dared to go for a touchdown instead of (what you think should have happened) a field goal, he's suddenly a cheeser. Just because you don't like giving us a touchdown or first down on fourth and one inside the 5 yard line, does not make it cheese.
Like I said, stupid as hell. There is absolutely nothing to complain about in that play. But leave it to you to find a way. I'm now starting to wonder about some of the other complaints you've made in the past about cheesers. If this guy, running a legitimate play is suddenly a cheeser according to you, then who else have you complained about before that may be actually innocent?

Aside from that neither of you play online so your opinions are non experiential and pointless. I have played online for a few years now and in a few leagues so I have learned many possibilities and become quite liberal in my evaluations but there are some things you don't do that are selfish and greedy moves and that is an obvious one with a 2 score lead.
Ultimately I don't care. I just made a comment to go with my picture but as usual you guys still have the annoying, childish internet habit of needing to dissect a sentence or thought and dragging trivial stuff into long winded trivial debate/comments.

Sim league play is based on what happens on a football field in real life, right? Hence the term simulation. If that is the case then pretty much every coach in America is a cheeser, based on your logic. Mike Leach should be banned from coaching for his antics. I play online but only with friends and we do not saddle ourselves with a bunch of arbitrary rules because it is a video game. If a friend did the same thing in your example I would only be upset at myself for not stopping him. Not complaining about something that happens on actual football fields, all across the country.
Uh oh, the Buffalo Bills coaching squad better get ready for Ram's wrath. I'm watching the Buffalo-Indy replay on NFL Network from Sunday night. Leading 30-20 with 5:18 left in their preseason game against Indianapolis, Buffalo went for it on fourth and three from the Indy 5 yard line, throwing a pass into the end zone for a touchdown to give Buffalo a 37-20 lead. Buffalo had a 10 point lead with just over 5 minutes left in the game, went for it on fourth down at the Indy 5 yard line, and scored a touchdown for a 17 point lead. Oh the humanity! Oh the cheese!

I Was Auburn, beat a guy using Ohio State 31-24. I'm sure it would have been worse but lucky chucks are far too easy for everyone now. And he was one of those kids that constantly needed to take his DE off the line ...how this helps i'm not sure
