Yeah I have not really seen it either. I have played all of my games as Arizona St. ( 4 home 4 away) and one of the home games was in heavy rain versus Michigan. The unis looked pretty clean to me. Now I am still only playing default five min quarters while in dynasty I play 8/9 minutes so there is less sample size but I have not seen a lot of uniform degradation on grass fields.
Speaking of weather, has anyone played a game in the fog? Last night I played a fog game at Sun Devil Stadium. Using the coordinator cam the imagery is horrific. It's fine when you zoom in but awful from up high. I do however find the game looks phenomenal on clear sun y days and/or clear nights.
The length of the game play a part in this. If you are playing 5 minute quarters you will see far less uniform degregation than you would 8 minutes and of course 15 minutes. The fields themselves degrade pretty much the same on all quarter lenghts and rain does not seem to be a factor. I threw on the lab coat and did a super-sim test. Used Texas Tech at OU for three games. Sunny games of 5, 8 and 15 minutes. Stopped the game with a minute to go in each. There is a pretty big difference when you sim out the 15 minutes. It was noticeable from the gameplay view. The 5 and 8 minutes you can see a few stains from the gameplay view but replay is required to see most of the dirt and grass stains. Seems pretty normal to me. Fields are a lot better taken of these days. Even using your example of OU/Texas in the rain.
2000 OU blowout was in the rain. Notice that none of the uniforms were that dirty.
They did some things I do not recall were the same last year. If you play in light snow you will see more player footprints than you would in heavy snow. The catch is the field itself looks exactly the same for both. Weather is an area EA needs to work on (progressive buildup for snow especially).
TGT Gold should come with a month free of Hooked On Phonics.![]()

Quick question: did they add anything to the Flexbone playbook? In the E3 video it looked like Navy might have some Pistol.
Thanks
basically to get the look of it in game, you have to run the 34 solid. however, the 2 OLB's need to be replaced by DE's. the 3 down linemen are all DT's as well.
nothing that a formation modifier cant fix....oh wait.
Why in dynasty mode is the SEC playing 9 conference games. Florida's 2013 schedule in dynasty is completely screwed, no Miami, instead playing Auburn before FSU???
But in the gimmicky season mode, it's 100% correct, with only 8 conference games???
So please EA, why an incorrect 9 conference games in dynasty but a correct 8 in season mode. So you're aware, and it's still broken.

Turns out I was wrong. Assisted tackles are being recorded. There are just very few of them.
Well, after my first season with South Alabama, I was able to sign 22 prospects in recruiting. One 1 star, nineteen 3 stars, and two 4 stars. My two best players signed were a 78 overall JUCO athlete converted to QB and a 76 overall true freshman DE. I am playing on Heisman offense and defense as the OC, and was able to go 9-4 my first season with a bowl win. Currently, in year two, I'm undefeated with notable wins against #12 Georgia and MS. State. Also of note, my HC started out at a level six with minimal recruiting advancements in the recruiting skill tree.
