I feel sorry for Half-life fans because, when 3 finally comes out, there's no possible way it can live up to the nostalgia and hype of the first two.

I know there's a few of us here that loved the old SOCOM games. David Sears, the guy behind the original ones, has created a Kickstarter for H-Hour: World's Elite, which is being described as a "spiritual successor" to the old PS2 SOCOM games. I know it's been a very long time since we've had a real SOCOM, so if you really want one, this is your chance.

He said on the game's forums that the Kickstarter is simply to get a demo together for the PC, so that they can show it off and get a publisher. The ultimate goal is to get it on PS4.

Needless to say, he's getting my money.

It has been successfully funded as of today and still have 4 days to spare. I really hope he stays true to the old SOCOM games and molds this game to be a successor to them. I'm pretty sure actual SOCOM is dead thanks to Sony/Zipper, so this may be the last chance for awhile to have combat similar to that style.

Maybe its just the cheapass in me or maybe I am looking through the I have two kids colored glasses but I swear I cant wrap my head around these kickstarter things for video games/movies.

I would love to see alot of things made but I don't care enough to help them out...maybe if more said hey pay me 60.00 now and you get the game "free" when it comes out maybe, but they are mostly always pay me 60.00 and I will give you a soundtrack and a t-shirt.

Doubt it. Looking at the trophy list, there looks like there might be a little grinding to get it.

Driving 1000 km in a vehicle and $10 million wealth would be about it. Everything else will most likely be quick and easy or pop up anyways during normal gameplay.

Hannah Montana. 3 hours to do the story. That's it.

Does any one know if the servers/online play are working for the old old Call Of Duty titles like Finest hour, Red point , and number 2 or 3 and WAW for that matter.. Any one?

Just gonna throw it out there... but... if you are entertaining any ladies in the near future you may wish to avoid turning on your PS3. I'm not sure how they will respond to games such as HANNAH MONTANA and FARM SIMULATOR.
