Yeah Knack definitely isn't "most gamer's cup of tea" which is sad considering how in the past EVERY console had a mascot cartoony platform game. I'll probably buy it and enjoy it and then people will make fun of me for buying/enjoying it.

I cannot play FPS so unfortunately the trend of me not being able to play a significant chunk of the games will likely continue next gen.

I'm in the same boat as I am NOT a FPS gamer. I have PS4 on pre-order primarily for sports but I really hope they throw some cpu style sim/strategy games our way. I will probably purchase knack as I showed the kids some videos and they were enthralled.

Well I'm taking it off to play it. As soon as UPS delivers it from Amazon's release day delivery, I'm plugging that bitch in and playing, and not working the next day either.

Dumb question but... will our PS3 account work with PS4 day one or will we need to go through all the steps of setting up a new account???

You old ps3 account should work on the ps4 same account same company or at least I would assume it would.

Yeah, they still don't have the dates figured out yet. November 30th is a Saturday. They changed the Xbox One to Wednesday, November 26th.

Will we have to sign in using our real names or can we still get by with our user personalities as in past? I don't know how I feel about the $50 for online multiplayer gaming... will playstation plus be included or an additional charge???

I'm fairly sure we'll still have usernames. But yes, the $50 is for Playstation Plus that includes online play.

As I recall people only see your real name if they are your FB "friend" (or you allow them to do so). Otherwise its just your PSN ID.

You must pay for PS+. However, the "only" things behind the paywall are online gaming and of course the freebies/discounts from PS+. Amazon, Netflix, etc... can all be accessed without PS+.
