the lawsuit has been going on for just as long. There well may be legal curves why something is done here and not there. None of you have any clue why and since they've not felt the need to promo NCAA at these things anyway, theres no reason to waste time wondering why. People who like sports and sports video games will buy it. They dont need a bunch of internet inside rhetoric. People will buy the game and its annual knowledge of the game coming out sells itself.

E3 is for the industry and select gaming dweebs. Ads on tv during a football game on a sports channel sell to the majority of the country.

It's a very weird stance taken by EA.
Isn't this what E3 is for? Why hype it and then not allow anyone to use it? That's geek-stupidity

I think they're probably smart to limit the amount of videos that random people take and put out there. I think many of the changes made, gameplay-wise at least, are things you'd have to "feel" rather than see to appreciate. These videos can only really hurt them.

For example, in Pasta's first video on the play where AP breaks a big TD run, you can still see the complete lack of leverage/run fits. It's twins left and the corner/OLB is lined up 3 yards outside the TE & still the stretch play somehow gets outside of him. What do they stand to gain by letting us pick them apart like that? Not saying I like it but it's probably wise on their end.

Wise or not for them aside, if I don't get solid video or reviews before release I will wait on trusted reviewers after release this year. For me I want to know if the program is more stable when online.

I will still buy NCAA no matter what. I was just hoping for my game play or a demo today oh well life goes on what and we wait 3 more weeks for the game! Then it is crunch time on boring RTG until rosters come out then dynasty time.

On gamechangers radio Shopmaster said he interviewed Ben Haumiller and he said it (DEMO) will drop before or on the 18th. Also MadScientist06 said that the version at E3 is final and that he will have gameplay from all 4 camera angles available sometime late tonight. He also said that Army was running the option VERY well.

So i guess you might want to check here every so often.

    VG Revolution: E3 2013 - Madden 25 and NCAA Football 14 Hands-On Impressions

    An excerpt:

I played a couple of quarters against random teams before taking the Miami Hurricanes into Autzen to face the Ducks of Oregon. Oregon ran their patented uptempo option attack with precision, gashing me with runs (to the tune of 300 yards rushing) and occasionally hitting the big pass play on me after forcing me to bring my defenders up to help out. Running backs like D’Anthony Thomas and Duke Johnson felt dangerous whenever they touched the ball, as the improved running logic helps them find the best holes to run through and the improved line play helps get the plays off the ground. For the first time in an EA football game, I had to make a concerted effort to stop the run by loading 8 or 9 players into the box. It opens up the strategic planning for the AI as they were then able to take advantage of my aggression and fear.

Reading this made me happy. It brings back memories of 06.

There have also been additions in the form of composure and home-field advantage, as well as a return and enhancement of the “matchup stick.” Holding R2/RT and flicking the stick in different directions gives you an easy-to-understand overview of the matchups on the field, as well as each player’s composure.

Additionally, players are able to hold a receiver’s corresponding button and find out how that specific receiver matches up with the defender across from him. Finding out that the defender matched up one-on-one across from your star receiver is 12 points slower and 3 inches shorter gives you the green light to attack downfield.

It may have been mentioned above, but on GC Radio this evening, MadSci discussed how playing Oregon vs. ....option team, I forget school.... they ran for a bunch of yards against him. He joins Marc from VG Revolution in saying that the CPU option game is vastly improved.

Visiting with Anthony White at the January community event, he said that was one his hopes/goals for the game this year. So far, it sounds promising in that regard.

FYI: I have been told that there is NO restriction on recording NCAA 14 at E3. Exact verbage: "We are allowing full recording of anything. ... The guys saying that you can't record are the guys that aren't coming over to NCAA."

MadScientist plans to have some videos posted later tonight.

Thanks for posting it and the update here. Hopefully some footage will calm the nerves of the impatient gamers. Next time you talk to him, be sure and tell him thanks. There are a few of us around that know just how much work goes into getting this stuff up. Of course EA could help things by throwing some media out, since it is E3 and the game comes out in a month.

Guys, don't have a heart attack. Next Gen games are going to take the fore front for now. This game is going to be awesome. And come the 2015 edition it will be on Next Gen

So who is putting a gun to EA's own head preventing them from releasing some footage?

Apparently you share the same disability as JB that does not allow you to see this already posted twice.

I think they are trying to straddle the line of promoting current & next-gen games at the same time, but not faring so well. My info did not come from marketing, so I can't speak for why there has been only one clip. We are as frustrated & confused as you guys (maybe even more so) on the lack of media & consistent info.

I saw the info on MadSci's vids, but thought it was worth repeating with bad info circulating most of the day about no videos allowed. Tryhard made his post referencing it while I was typing up mine.
