Precisely. I think I'll just roll up on my local Gamestop when it opens in the morning and pre order there so I have control over how much I put down and when I can put it down. I just hate that I'll have to fight the hordes on release day.

I don't know, I think they're both ugly as hell.

Not the point, though, point is it does have an optical input, so at the very least, the sound on your headset will work and not become a $250 paperweight.

The way you could do it is to purchase Amazon gift cards for yourself. You can set the price and send yourself one every so often until you get to the amount you need for the PS4 and accessories, etc. Bear in mind that Amazon always looks to use gift cards first to pay for any purchase, so you will need to edit any orders between now and PS3 release date to use the CC you have on file with them, instead of the gift card balamce.

I use my debit card to do this each month to pay for movies, etc at Amazon. I set a budget on what I plan to buy and send myself a gift card. No interest to worry about and for it works much better than having a bunch of transactions on my bank statement.

Yeah, that's cracking me up. People used to go on and on about how PS was free and Xbox Live Gold is $50 a year or whatever. But now $50 for PS+, well, now it's awesome. Never fails to crack me up.

Yeah, both Microsoft and Sony need to fire whoever designed both of those. I mean, I have never seen uglier electronic devices in my life.

My wife and I just moved here last June after we got married. The one thing I like so far is that there are no fucking Gnats here. Down home (Leesburg, GA.) the Gnats are terrible and I hate fucking Gnats.

I'm "hoping" that is to aid in moving air out/through the console and keep it cool.

As IOU said, both are pretty ugly. Maybe IRL they look better, but I just hope they aren't dust magnets (but probably will be).
