Reason #1 of many why I hate the fucking Lakers and hope their entire franchise implodes forever. Bunch of goddamn jokes.

Wow. I'm speechless... I knew it was bad, but THAT bad? Damn....
By all accounts, Shaquille O'Neal's jersey retirement ceremony Tuesday evening was a smashing success. Except, that is, for one thing. When his jersey was raised to the Staples Center rafters with the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers legends, his name and number were printed on the front of the jersey, not the back.

Wow. How in the holy hell did Denver beat San Antonio 96-86 last night? Watching the replay on ESPN2, San Antonio is right now leading 12-0 with 8:34 left in the first quarter, the Nuggets unable to do a damn thing.
Edit - Make that 14-0 through 6:45 in the first quarter before Denver finally scored.

TNT's coverage of the game tonight will be interesting. They are going to roll with three color commentary guys (Kerr, Webber, Miller) and no play-by-play guy. Kind of an interesting experiment.
Kobe got injured tonight, word is it's likely a torn Achilles tendon, ending his season. And with that, kiss goodbye any chance for the Lakers to get out of the first round, if they don't blow it right here at the end and let the Jazz slip past them first.
I just saw the news about Kobe. And that my friends is why when things are going bad, you never say what else can go wrong? I now wonder if Howard has the balls to leave LA knowing Kobe will be out the first three or four months of next season.
Actually looking forward to this year's NBA Draft. Lots of good names out there this year.
Nah. I think it'll be a 6 game series. The Spurs are beat to hell and, most likely, the Lakers will pull off two wins at home before the end of the series. The Spurs definitely didn't want to face them, I can tell ya that.
I think the most interesting thing will be to see what Harden tries to do to his old team. That's gonna be damn interesting.
I'd LOVE to see Boston take the Knicks to the woodshed. I fully expect Paul Pierce to have a ridiculously strong series and see Melo fade from the spotlight underneath Pierce's defense.
