In a nutshell, some woman pastor in St. Louis crossed out the auto 18% gratuity and wrote 0, along with saying "I tip God 10%, why should I give you more?". Applebee's fired the waitress. Internet predictably reacted.

EDIT: Smooth, the quote the waitress is giving its that there is nothing in the employee handbook that prohibits it. Sometimes the "dumbshit masses" don't ignore the reality, y'know.

Meh, fuck Applebees. Their food is shitty anyway. I haven't eaten there in probably 3 years and the last time I went it was because I was tired of everything else in the area I was in at the time that I was hungry and I regretted it immediately.

My 8 yr old daughter was called a bully by her teacher b/c she took a piece of candy off a table resulting in one of the kids being left out. WTF!!!?? Really!? Isn't that just a kid being a kid? It's not like she's beating someone up or doing something violent.

Random thoughts since I have been away, would use the forum suggestion thread but it seems stuck in 2012.
