The dude abides.
You mean the next MGS?
Honestly, very little in that that screamed "had to be next gen" to me, other than the fact that you wouldn't likely release that game in time to be this generation.
Definitely surprised me. Though the VGAs makes a lot of calls that I don't expect.

This is pretty interesting...from Joystiq

Hu-uh. Interesting. Would like to see it as a graph where the height of the bar indicates the number of reviews with that score. Otherwise it could just mean that the consoles at the top end of the list (particularly GameCube and the 64) just lacked the horrible crap that ends up at the bottom end of the review range.

So whats up everyone. I haven't posted in a great while. Is everyone enjoying this year games?I"ve been loving black ops 2 and madden 13 really impressed me this year with all chances and upgrades. Haven't gotten my chances at NCAA 13 just the demo. But was really fun and could be ..enjoyable again. Since moving to GB, WI. I have been busy dieting and life style changing and Working on enlisting into the Navy..
Good luck, man!

Nah, every review I've seen has said the hype was deserved.

Same here. I haven't been impressed by most of Telltale's games. Well, actually, that's not fair to say ... they've been impressive, just not my type of game.

As I said with Heavy Rain, The Walking Dead really isn't a game. I'd call it more of an interactive story with very small snippets of game play. Regardless, easily one of the most engaging experiences you can have. It's a little slow at times, but I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the series, especially at $10 for the entire first season. That's a steal.
This is all truth right here.
The "game" is really just a store with adventure-game elements (click here to investigate, click this person to talk, etc.) and QTEs. I was never interested in the game because I don't watch the show and while I find the zombie fad/apocalypse amusing at times, I'm ready for it to die. But, like I said, all the GotY talk and the super cheap price got me to bite the bullet. It's awesome! I just finished Episode 2 and.......well.......it's hitting the fan. Pure craziness. It may not be GotY based on gameplay but it's definitely my Experience of the Year.
Gah. I hate adventure games though ....

Me too. It's not an adventure game after episode 3 and gets progressively less and less after the first game. Even there, it's BARELY an adventure game. It's a story-based experience (like Heavy Rain, but without all the silly motion shit) and really nothing more. If you enjoy the milieu of the game at all (zombie movie), you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing it.
It got me. I cried at the end of Episode 5. Congrat-u-fucking-lations TellTale. You did it. You made me fucking cry from a video game.

After reading all of your comments, glad that I downloaded Telltale's Walking Dead when it was discounted. Now to eventually get to playing it.
The END of used/rented games?
