why is it that when you get a ridiculously low amount of sleep you always wake up more wired than when you get like 12 hours?
Good question, I couldn't sleep at all last night up till 330am and boom up at 545am and been going strong all day.
that was almost exactly when i woke up too. was in bed by 10 last night, watched Moneyball until midnight/12:30 ish, slept for 3 1/2 hours. 4 am comes along, and i'm wide awake.
I want to believe that I read a study somewhere that, technically speaking, the body runs more efficiently on 4-6 hours of sleep than it does 8+. Something attributed to the fact that, while early man would stay in their dwelling from 8 or 9 pm until 7 or 8 am the next morning, they would sleep in shifts of only 5 or 6 hours a night. I could be totally pulling that out of my ass though.
Personally, I've actually found that sleeping for 5-6 hours I feel better in the morning unless I sleep for exactly 8 hours. I don't know what it is, but, for some reason, if I sleep for 7 or 7 1/2 hours, I feel like complete dogshit the next morning.

That's just despicable, but, without more information, I'm not sure which is worse: the fact that a team, with their backups in, scored 102 points or the other team only scored 2 points the entire game.
So, Commando is on Netflix. I wasn't sure if I'd actually seen it before or not (halfway through and I definitely remember parts of it - never knew that his daughter was Alyssa Milano's second acting job as a 13 year old girl that gets captured and Arnold saves), but goddamn is it silly as hell.
